Nice little pub in downtown Decatur. Parking was free, limited, and a little tight. The restaurant had plenty of outdoor and... indoor seating and it was spooky-ly decorated for Halloween. We ordered the Goat Cheese Fritters --- this is what annoys meabout appetizers that are served in odd numbers: you have to be selfless and give up the extra fritter to your spouse or testthem to see if they have a generous heart. Or I guess you could just stare at the last piece for several minutes and see whowill get it first. So yeah...it only came with 3 fritters and being the generous person I am...I gave it to my husband. Iordered the Warm Brussels Sprouts Salad and OMG I couldn't stop eating it. Just don't smile if you're on a date or with friends, because the dressing is half black pepper, half vinaigrette. I had so many black pepper flakes stuck in between my teeth at theend of my meal...it was so embarrassing. Good thing I'm married and my husband sees me without makeup...so black pepper teethain't the worst thing he's seen of me. My husband ordered the Shepherd's Pie and devoured it like it was his last meal. Ourserver was friendly and attentive. Definitely will come back to try if I'm in the area. Read more

Wait staff was amazing and the food was decent. The smoked salmon was great as was the brussel sprouts. I ordered a Whiskey... Blues and it was like a blueberry pancake. One of the best drinks I've had in a minute! Read more

We went out to Marlay House on Labor Day evening. It was busy for a Monday, but we were able to easily find seating at the bar.... The service was great, and they gave some recommendations for drink specials that were a good match. It's a pub so you're notgoing to get fancy or bougie drinks, but they have a wide selection of Irish beers and standard liquor options. But onto thebig part: they probably the best Fish and Chips in town. It was perfectly crispy, flavored, and the portions were definitelyfilling. I think their tartar sauce is made in house too, which stood out to me. My partner got the the brisket sandwich andthought it was good as well. Though personally I would go for their Fish and Chips anyday. Overall great service, livelypatrons, and a good time. Hope to be back! Read more

3.4 | highly recommend the brussels and the bread pudding! they also have a good drink selection. I just think it doesn?t quite... stack up entree wise to some of the other Downtown Decatur gems, but it?s open late and does a good burger so we come backpretty frequently. Read more

Great "go to" place for a laid back meal and a pint. They do a food jib on traditional Irish fare but also have great American... mainstays. Love the shepherd's pie but also love their burgers. Read more

The Blackened Snapper over corn risotto tasted expertly prepared and had great flavor. The hubbs requested a medium well burger... and it was perfect. Our meals were reasonably priced and worth every bite. Read more
