Not a fan. The best thing is the oxtail and that's some timey too. Food has too much MSG. Dryest Mac and cheese I've ever seen.... People waiting on you have attitude problem, customer service very poor.. I wouldn't waste my money (.) Go somewhere else. Read more
2022 update: I came in approximately 8:00 p.m. loud music I was not greeted when I walked in I was not greeted as I stood there... and tried to figure out what I wanted to order and the woman at the counter was not interested in my order at all another personcame in behind me and we both decided to leave ....A little pricey for the quality of food and service. Ordered Curry Goat Large$17 beef patty and one Ginger Beer +$22. Plate was loaded with tender meat. Overcooked cabbage and carrots. Rice was regular, nococonut milk or scotch bonnet. I ordered oxtails and they didn?t taste the best which surprised me cause I?d eaten at this place before ?..but this time the... taste just wasn?t there then the next day I was so sick I could barely hold my head up. Previous reviews are definitely befitting to my experience. The first time I ordered thru UberEats, my meal was delicious & well... portioned. I ordered a Large oxtail plate, peas & rice(heavy gravy), & Mac & cheese. I was so satisfied, I placed the same ordera few days later. Only this time, the second plate's quality, nor quantity was not equivalent to my first experience. Theportion size was inconsistent. As stated above, I ordered the same Large oxtail plate; however, the size was much smaller thanmy first order. I made several attempts to contact the number listed for this establishment online, but never got an answer. So,today, I decided to give them a 3rd try, also, ordering from UberEats. In the offered "Notes" space, I explained my concernswith my last order, & requested they remain consistent with their portion sizes; especially, if I'm paying extra for a largeplate. My order went thru, but approximately 15 minutes later, I received a notification from my Uber app, stating my order hadbeen cancelled, due to the store not being able to accommodate my "special request". This is ridiculous, & unprofessional. Therewere no "special request" I only reiterated how dissatisfied I was with my last order, compared to my first order, & asked thatthey be consistent with their portions sizes when paying for a large meal. A true business owner would have taken this time toacknowledge A REPEATED customer's concerns, & rectified the problem. Hands down probably one of thee worst Jamaican spot I?ve ever been to.Food was overpriced for quality and quantity. Brown stew... had little ?gravy? or flavor. Gravy looked oily with no peppers. Cabbage no flavor. No peas in the rice and peas. No spiceballs. Mac and cheese is different. I?ve never had peppers in mine and it?s no cheese flavor. Read more
They were very kind people however the food was very lackluster!! The rice and peas had an odd flavor, the cabbage was... unseasoned and the Mac and cheese was also under seasoned. It tasted very egg yolky. The ?sauce? for the jerk chicken was alsoquite off putting. Not a fan and def not one of my faves. Read more
I ordered mac and cheese, this is what I got, oily elbow noodles covered in black pepper. No cheese anywhere in sight. Like... none. The jerk chicken was okay, a bit salty. My true disappointment was this mac and cheese and the jerk sauce. The Italiandressing in it is weird. Also, there is no restroom, even for paying customers. Read more
