As a huge fan of The Deer + The Dove, it should come as no surprise that I also LOVE this spot. I always appreciate and... patronize a business committed to using local ingredients, and B-Side really takes that to heart. I think these are the bestbagels ITP. I noticed other reviews complaining about the size - so I guess it's important to know these are Montreal-stylebagels, which are wood-fired (hence the browning) and are on the smaller side). Different from NY bagels! Aside from the bagels,the pastry case is always varied, seasonal, and delicious, and the lunch sandwich options are amazing. B-Side is a very convenient and aesthetically pleasing coffee/bagel shop. Their staff members are SO friendly, knowledgeable,... and assisting. Good amount of seating with options inside and directly outside. Milk alternatives are available with a goodselection of toppings to customize your perfect bagel. They even sell some of their in-house meats to the public. Their pastrieslooked awesome, unfortunately my girlfriend and I only went with two bagels and accompanying iced-matcha teas. For the price, Ithink the meat portions you can get on the bagel (from our experience specifically: bacon, ham, & egg) are a little skimp, butthe schmears are damn good. If they could make the portions a little meatier (no pun intended, but kind of), this would be theperfect morning stop. Read more
Was super yummy got the veggie, beef sandwich, latte and orange juice. Only giving 4 star bc the prices are a little over priced... in my opinion. It was a $1.50 up charge for oat or almond substitute and $6 for an 8oz minute made OJ in the bottle. Usuallythose range from 0.75 -and $4 around the Atlanta area/suburbs. However the sandwiches are great and the bagels are very good.Veggies were fresh pickled and beef sandwich was on a full sized hoagie. Read more
This place is totally adorable inside. Fresh bagels ? the everything bagel was delicious with additional Italian seasonings and... other additions I don?t typically see. So good! And the latte was fab. Read more
If you're in the market for great coffee, amazing bagels, and a fantastic vibe, don't miss out on B-side. The staff kindly... entertained my questions about the food and made great recommendations. I got the olive and capers schmeer on a locally grownbenne seed bagel and it was delicious. The area has a lot of great shops and views around as well. I'll definitely stop hereanytime I come back to Decatur. Read more
What a lovely spot for breakfast and coffee. Delicious bagels and smears. We also got a tomato galette which was amazing ($9... price wasn't obvious still very good). I went back for a pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes sandwich which was also good.The bacon is amazing. Read more
Nice local shop for coffee and breakfast. The food here was very tasty, I think most of their ingredients are locally sourced,... but it is fairly pricey in general and the sandwiches weren't very large. The lox bagel sandwich ($14.50) tasted fresh. We alsotried the chocolate chip cookie, brown butter pumpkin cookie, and pecan tartlet (~$16 for all 3). All were good, but the brownbutter pumpkin cookie was fantastic. Came around 10am on a Saturday and it was packed inside with a line going out the door.It's located around downtown Decatur so it seems like they get a lot of foot traffic. There is seating inside, but the store isfairly small so it's a bit hard to get a table when they're busy. Read more
