*GET THERE EARLY* You want to talk about some damn good food, Smokey C's is the place. Ribs, buffalo wings (they smoke their... wings) mannnnn the sides deviled eggs , green beans , they got nanner pudding and much more! I'm telling you , this is somegood food! Just make sure you get there early because if you don't get there in time they will possibly run out of certain foodthat they serve, which they have signs everywhere saying that It's a possibility so don't be surprised if you get there latethat's your fault. 6 out of 5 Stars ?????? I had the pulled pork with green beans and Mac and cheese. Sooooo good! Service was as good as the food and pretty fast at... lunch. If you're looking for great BBQ this is the spot! Doesn't hurt that the banana pudding is pretty good too Read more
I went here for lunch a day after their remodel and I got the spare ribs. They were extremely good as well as the baked beans.... We tried Big Bob Gibson's a few days before and it was a -2 star. I can see why people recommend Smoky C's. Good food. Onlyreason for the four star is the green beans are horrible and my buddy said the pulled pork needed sauce as it was too dry. Read more
This restaurant has the absolute best ribs I have ever had!! They have great sides as well. My favorites are the potato salad,... deviled eggs, and banana pudding. The workers are so warm and friendly too!! This is definitely my new favorite restaurant. Read more
This is the best BBQ in Decatur & quite possibly in Alabama! The spice rub they make & use is absolutely amazing. Also they... have the best staff a restaurant could ask for! Even when the line of people is out the door they make it go FAST! The food isalways fresh & tasty. The owners are super friendly & really know how to run a restaurant. Really really good BBQ. They have by far the best smoked chicken I've ever eaten. I have tried most of the food at Smokey's and... it is all excellent. They even have a chicken salad sandwich that's awesome. Their white sauce is my favorite white sauce. Theribs are great. Only open for lunch though??. Get there early if you want wings..or call ahead..they will run out. Read more
Staff is always friendly when I have been. The wings and pulled pork sandwich is really good. But the potato salad is not. It?s... really bland and unappealing to the eye. It resembles cottage cheese with potatoes in it. Other than that, pretty solid place. Read more
