We went here spur of the moment because the restaurant we had planned on going to had just closed for the evening. So glad we... did! Friendly service. But what was really great was the food! I ordered chicken hibachi and the plate was literally PILED! Theyhad huge mounds of rice! I had enough leftovers for 2 more meals at home. Hubby ordered sushi and loved it. Food wasn't bad, but not great. Great presentation, but if you're looking for sashimi, I'd look elsewhere. Peppered Tuna was... fine. Sashimi Dinner was meh. I understand that it's the chef's choice, but a stick of surimi cut in two shouldn't count as twopieces of sashimi. Was not happy, but tried to understand to see a hair in my salad that was black. But to then find another black hair in my... entrée is NASTY! Edit: friends wanted hibachi one night and I still wanted sushi and to have some leftovers for lunch the next day. I had... bariatric surgery and normally order off kids menu. I ordered my sushi roll and the kids chicken hibachi. They refused. Theysaid they could not do a kids hibachi for anyone under 12. I asked why would they rather turn away money than just do a kidshibachi but they said no. So instead of $30 ticket for their revenue it was $12. Not real sure on that logic. Ok so this was my first time eating here. I had high expectations on the food quality and the chefs dazzling show while cooking... on the hibachi, so they were in for a battle.. so when Sindy and I entered the restaurant we were greeted with a smilinghostess. I asked the chef if I could take pictures.. I believe he was even more of a show boat so the show turned out great.The food was definitely fresh. We had salmon... very pleased with this restaurant.. great staff. The manager YURI really doesenjoy working there and makes sure that the customers are happy. I also looked at the other employees and came to the sameconclusion... They all put a team effort in the whole pleasant dining experience. JACOB a server was there to make theexperience joyful.
