Although the service was great, this was my second trip to this Hardee's on 6th Avenue in Decatur in as many weeks. The burger... was great, the fries were good and hot. The only issue and at this point I think it is intentional, the upside fries that Ipaid extra for were about the same amount as the medium fries. The fry box was never opened up. It is still flat. I left acomplaint on their website survey. Apparently they haven't seen it, or it IS intentional and a way to upscale the medium sizedfries. A week later and they still serving them this way. They never opened the bottom of the sleeve as designed. Won't be goingback. Read more

Only good at breakfast. Be aware of special prices. Advertisement will say 2 for a set price for example and then you are... still charged full price for both items. Read more

Haven't eaten Hardees in years. But I was hungry and craving mushrooms, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Ordered the mushroom... and swiss. It came on Frisco bread, hard and inedible. Old dried up mushrooms and pepper jack cheese. I think they gave mesomething SOMEONE ELSE ordered. The onion rings were upside down and all over the bottom of the bag. This was a majorlyunsatisfactory visit after not coming there for over 7 years. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Id give zero stars if I could. Read more

Just tried to order six double cheeseburgers and the price was $45! I said, surely that's a mistake. Six burgers for 45 bucks?... Two different employees said "yep that's right". That was a blatant lie. There is no way double cheeseburgers are almost 8dollars a piece. If they are that much then it's absolutely absurd. I'm done with Hardees. Read more

I'll start off by saying the food Is actually decent but the terrible service completely overshadows the taste. Me and my... coworkers went there for lunch and had to wait over 5 minutes to even be acknowledged and once we ordered it took over 20minutes for us to get our food. Read more

I had just finished a 5 hour meeting and wanted a drink for my 40 minute ride home, so I went through the Hardee's drive thru... and was promptly greeted! At the window I was again greeted and was handed my Coke with light ice...just the way I likeit!! Thanks for excellent service AND my refreshing Coke, it hit the spot!! Read more

clean and friendly restaurant. Not busy and our short wait was because they made the fries fresh. Two combo meals with tax for... $17 . the chicken tenders are all white meat and the fries were hot and crispy. Its down the street from the Cook Museum so wedecided to get a bite before we visited the museum. the location is very convenient. Read more

The pictures on this review illustrate what I received when I ordered and paid for a "prime rib and cheddar Angus thickburger"... ... $8.71 for what was represented on the menu picture as a hamburger patty piled high with thin sliced prime rib and meltedcheddar cheese on a bed of grilled onions. Sounds delicious right? The picture looked even better than my description on its ownplacard displayed as a "new" menu item, prominently adjacent to the typical items. Now, I've had both Carl's Jr and Hardee's atdifferent locations over the years, and have consistently been pleased with my order. In fact, I've come to expect anoverflowing and succulently messy sandwich in the box. In the 90's Carl's Jr marketed the fact that you couldn't eat one oftheir sandwiches without dripping condiments everywhere. That may not sound appealing to some, but I love a messy burger. BeforeI opened this sandwich, I even grabbed extra napkins knowing that I would be challenged to keep melted cheese and prime rib aujus from getting all over my desk. Looking at the pics of the product from this location, you can imagine my disappointment. Tobe fair, Ashley, the cashier, was exceptionally friendly and polite and I'm certain had no idea that she was handing me such adisappointing specimen of a burger. The flavor and doneness of the burger were acceptable, but did not make up for the lack of"prime rib and cheddar" that was advertised. I will not be returning to this location and I recommend to anyone else consideringa quick lunch in Decatur that you continue on to the nearby Jack's or Arby's. My two cents. Read more
