Okay as far as Italian food goes. We came on the recommendation of several people. The food was average, the salad was just... iceberg lettuce pieces with a couple of small tomato slices. No house Italian style dressing. The ?stuffed mushrooms ? werenothing more than five small mushrooms with a little cheese in them, not much flavor at all. Oh and the small saucer of flavoredolive oil will set you back $3.99, free at most other restaurants of this kind! Filling yes, would we go back, no not at thoseprices. Please judge for yourself. Being Italian makes every Italian restaurant just ok, and this one is one of them. The food is good but it's not authentic, it... didn't taste like home. The garlic oil with bread was delicious. I would order it again. Everything else was fresh and good, still better than a lot of other restaurants. Read more
We heard a lot about this place. Finally, we had an opportunity to stop by and try it, we loved the atmosphere, and the decor... food was terrific compared to a chain Italian restaurant. The service was friendly portion was huge. I will be back. Read more
Me and my two kids eat out once a week around town. First time here. I pass by daily to and from work. Never really thought... about it. Not sure why? We have or favorites and I've got a picky 7yr old. My 13yr old wanted to try it. Food was okay the pizzacould have been cooked a little longer. My youngest lives on pepperoni pizza and chicken nuggets. He had a couple bites anddidn't want it. I tried it. Seemed chewy. Didn't see drink's in the menu? No bar? Lots of wine on display. Had a to go orderbefore we left for a friend. Tab was about 86. That's about average without a drink for me. Waitress was good did her job as Iwould expect. She got a 20 good job. Place looks good nice decor. They could use a little better curb appeal. Read more
Lunch was ok and I departed filled to the brim with American Southern Italian Red Sauce food. Our two entrees were from the... lunch menu.Price points were $8.99 and included a very small underwhelming salad, bread knots (served hot) and for $3.99 oliveoil dipping sauce which included Parmigiano cheese, red pepper flakes and a good amount of black pepper. It tasted great. Mywife had manicotti that came to the table popping hot. She proclaimed it a good choice.I had the eggplant Parmigiano which wasalso tasty. One chocolate cannoli was ordered and shared. It wasn't perfection like I expect at (Angelo Brocato's) in NewOrleans but was a nice couter point to our lunch entrees. My problem with Francesco's was the price $10.99 for a very smallportion of fried calamari. It was woefully small for that price point,at that restaurant and at that location. (See photo) Purestingyness on the kitchens part but they were deftly fried and tasted great. Read more

We went Saturday night for dinner and it wasn't packed. There was a large party there so they accommodate that. They were really... friendly and actually give out free garlic knots as an appetizer. But you only get one so it's free bread after that. Which isstill awesome because when you have pasta dipping it with the bread is amazing. So that's awesome they offer that. They docharge for like the oil and seasoning the other places give you. Just keep that in mind. The atmosphere could have been a littlemore appealing. It's kind of dark and dimly lit. I would perform more of a lit up alive atmosphere. This could be why theyweren't packed. But this again was the only time I've ever been and I would go again. They were super nice to my boys.
