We are from the PNW but I used to live in the south a long time ago. I was craving some good ol fashion country soul food and... this place all expectations. The batter used on the recipe for the meals is so delicious and tasty. We kept eating well after wewere full. 3 musts, the honey hot wings (best wings in town), the battered shrimp (I've never had better shrimp), the fish (justget it, you will thank me). I could eat here every day. And the owner is there for you. They aim to please. Not to mention thisplace has the best prices in town. I will definitely visit Decatur again and we will most surely come back for the Best Tastein town!! Read more
3.5-4 stars. The meat in the Philly (I wouldnt call it a Philly as it was more like a steak bite sandwich on a hot dog bun) and... the wings were very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fries were cooked exactly right but were inedible as they tastedstrongly like old oil. The portions for the price were slightly smaller than expected. Read more

Coming from Wisconsin, I wanted to find a good local eatery for breakfast. Not only did the owner take my order but she went... right back to the kitchen to make my food. My husband and I ate here a few days ago and our food was cooked as we ordered it and it arrived to my table hot! The service... was okay. While we was eating there was a few family member teens that came in to visit but went straight back to the kitchen,and that didn't seem the cleanest idea to me but wasn't a complete deal breaker. I will be back to try a few more items Inoticed on the menu! Went for lunch. Crazy packed but the food was great quality wise. Prices are great as well. I'll be back to try more things.... Made a great first impression on me. Fries were pre seasoned which I love. Burger was super thicc. Read more
