This WAS my favorite Toarmina's. I live in Trenton but come to the Dearborn location when at my friend's house. Yesterday I... received a 16" pizza and cheese bread along with a few other things. The pizza was delivered an hour & 15 minutes after Iordered it, cold (no exaggeration), with barely any cheese on it. The texture of the cheese was like they made it the day beforeand heated it up and took over an hr to deliver it. The toppings were even dry like day old pizza. Friendly Staff; Low Quality Pizza; No Cheese Pizza by the Slice While in the area, I visited Toarmina's. The location is... conveniently located off Cherry Hill and Telegraph offering you a chance to walk to/from a residence in the area. Upon entering,I skimmed the prices which are reasonable and observed the worker at the counter who was friendly with the customers. While inthe shop, two of the three customers purchased subs -- not pizza. That should have been a tell to me. Nevertheless, I wasinterested in pizza. I asked for a cheese slice, but the worker said they only offer pepperoni pizza by the slice. I have beento my fair share of pizza joints in Detroit, Chicago, and the East Coast. So this caught me off guard. I politely asked if theywere just out or if they normally do not offer cheese slices by the slice. Unfortunately, it was the norm. I was offered a smallpersonal cheese pizza at a reasonable price so I ordered one. When it arrived, it was hot, but that is about the extent of thequality. I am sorry to say I have had better pizzas from the frozen section at Kroger. I appreciate the staff, but I'll neverorder pizza from here. Perhaps the subs are better. I have never had a bad experience here. The gentleman that work here are hard working and care about the quality of food they... put out to their customers. Whether I order for my own home, super bowl or cater to our child care center they always give 110%and get my catering delivery in for the same day. I appreciate you guys especially with being short staffed. Thank you foralways taking care of our offices! Read more
I was highly disappointed with the presentation of my food. I missed my connecting flight back to Phoenix and had to stay in... Michigan overnight. The hotel receptionist provided me with a menu for this restaurant. I order the steak sub and fries. Thefries and sub loaf was overcooked. There was barely any meat in the sub. I shouldn’t have counted out the reviews that werepreviously posted about this restaurant. Read more
Ordered a pizza with extra cheese an pepperoni, with a flavored crust. What was delivered look like a 5 year old made it (and... not the prodigy chef kind) Also ordered a crispy chicken sub. It was supposed to have lettuce, tomato, onion and Italiandressing. I got a chicken and onion calzone with ranch ???? Disspointed. Friendly staff, always fast pickup times. Pizza is great but they got the best subs and calzones in town!
