We wanted to find a place right off the interstate on our home from Galena to Omaha and so glad we found this place. The darling... girl working was a dynamo! The food was awesome. My van broke down on the highway so we ended up at this restaurant. I have my kids and grand babies with me and it is freezing... outside, we sat and had lunch and waited hours for someone to come pick us up. Everyone was super friendly and the waitressTrish was awesome she even let my 6 year old granddaughter watch peppa pig in the bar! I am very thankful this place is here andthey didn't mind a 11, 6 and 3 month old to keep warm and wait for a ride. She didn't even bat an eye. Kudos???????????????????????????????? Read more

Ordered the Rodeo Burger (pictured). It was definitely a handful and messy, but good at the same time. Overall it was a good... experience. Place isn't the biggest by any means and it was fairly busy when we stopped on a Sunday for lunch, so much so thatthe only open table was in the very back corner next to a small refrigerator the staff needed to access regularly. We were driving back from Des Moines and wanted to stop for a drink and some food. We came across Ambro's and was happy that we... did! They were super busy for a Saturday lunch but the ladies were very helpful! And had smiles on their faces and happy toserve! We had some burgers that were DELICIOUS! And loved the seasoning on the fries! Yummy!! Great little place for food anddrinks! And if it is a nice day...you can enjoy everything outside! Read more
People and staff are rude and very small town no outsiders welcome vibe. Food is expensive for a dive bar.very little room in... main bar and cold in the poorly crafted extended bar. With long wait times for orders. Wouldn't recommend. Read more
