We came up from Florida because my girlfriends moms best friend is in hospice and this is most likely her last Thanksgiving. We... decided not to cook and take her out to dinner at DeForest and it was the best idea possible. I can?t express how nice everyonewas. I loved feeling like I?ve been there a million times before. The food was amazing and don?t even get me started on thedessert selection. We had the Roasted Turkey with stuffing and mashed potatoes. It was one of the best I?ve ever had, evencompared to home made! Thank you for making our thanksgiving even more memorable. We will definitely be back every time we cometo Wisconsin. Read more

I guess when it's really the only place in town you deal with it but this was far the most disgusting breakfast I've had.... Nothing other than my eggs on my skillet were even cooked it seemed like. 0 Browning on the wet hash browns, bacon was still rawtasting, sausage barely cooked, even the pancakes still had uncooked batter in the middle. If you told me they only microwavetheir food here I'd believe it. Only saving grace was the fruit cup we got, was super juicy and good. Not coming back. Read more

Went here on a Sunday for brunch. Very popular place, parking lot was full and there was a short wait for a table. Staff is... super nice and friendly. Great selection of different items on the menu, will have to come back to try lunch and dinner items. Our brunch was delicious. I got a bacon/ cheese omelette with wheat toast and hash browns. Very generous amount of bacon andcheese in the omelette. My husband got one of their skillets: Meat lovers and a side pancake. Both were delicious. Very familyfriendly restaurant, saw quite a few families dinning in. Read more

This restaurant was a great discovery on a recent trip to DeForest. The service was very attentive and friendly. Our waitress... was very knowledgeable about the menu, especially regarding a food allergy in our group. The food was delicious and each memberof our group left very satisfied. I recommend the restaurant for others and will be returning there myself, sometime in thefuture. Read more

Taco salad good, but the shell was a bit greasy. Wait staff was great, and there was a lot of variety on the menu.

Headed North for a 3 day weekend. Wanted to get past Madison and then have breakfast. This place was open before 7! The menu is... HUGE, so many options on top of daily specials which will make your decision that much harder. Im typically a biscuits and gravyperson but choose the potato pancake combo. I did one pancake, which was huge! He got the chicken fried steak, he was so full hecouldn't even finish the whole plate. Very friendly, attentive staff. It also was only 1.2 miles off the highway. I would highlyrecommend to anyone traveling through the area. Read more

Really good food and service. Like Mom makes, if she's an awesome cook!! I had a skillet with a pancake; not complicated but... everything was cooked perfect and the best pancake I've ever had. Went back for lunch 2 days later, it was great. Now I've gonethere 6 or 7 times. Read more

Could have been so much better. Seemed like a really nice family, but things just weren't that great. The first salad they... served me had quite a bit of wilted lettuce in it. Then my daughter's French toast had a very long hair in it. My ribs seemedlike they had been cooked a while ago and they were totally drenched in BBQ sauce. The highlight was dessert. We had the cherryand cream cheese pie and the Apple pie a la mode. Both were really good. Google said they closed at 9, but they closed at 8 PM.Still, that's no reason I couldn't get a 2nd coffee refill. Maybe we'll try them again another time. Read more
