Stopped in after about a two year hiatus. The food was really good. Had a bowl of lamb balls and essentially made a Greek salad... out of the toppings. Plenty of seating, clean, and we got there before noon, so not much of a line. I'm often asked what wouldit take to get 5 stars, and I do have a rating standard for restaurants: 1) Quality of the food. 2) Quality of the service. 3)Quality of the setting. 4) Value (experience for the price) 5) The wow factor; when you experience it, you know it! The primaryreason I cannot rate this higher is the noise level when ordering. It was very difficult to hear the questions and answers. Theywill ask if you want something added and you say "What is that?", then you cannot hear the answer. I'd suggest some sounddeadening panels. Go see Mr. Wich and see what they have done. This place may just be one of Daytona's hidden gems. The food here is tremendous! If you like Mediterranean cuisine and don't... have the time to wait, then Oliv is the place to go! Straightforward with their ingredients and freshness. They offer Salads,bowls, and, wraps.Try the falafel! Great value and great service! Cannot go wrong with this place. Wow, what a fantastic salad they served. Made to order and more than filled me up for $10. Nice. The pics don't do it... justice. With unique items like pickled turnips and sumac dressing, the place is a jewel where very restaurants are even found. Thank you to the staff for the freshness too. Read more
