The app wouldn?t scan. I got charged on my card from the mobile order and I also paid cash The last time I was here so I figured... it was just a one time thing. But if you want special sauce on your hamburger instead of ketchup and mayonnaise then be preparedto pay a third of what it cost just for the burger. Because I dip my fries and ranch that also cost me for each of those packetsand I think that was my last trip there at the Daytona location. Read more
We walked into this McDonald's on 10/16 @1030am maybe about 4 people were sitting down and waiting for food there was a young... man running the front he was handicapped and doing a GREAT JOB!!!! all the other employees where going slow and gossiping, theguy at the front started getting a crowd at the front and it was obviously getting overwhelming. And no manager insight....finally after getting my food I saw the manager walk by and asked her very kindly for her name so that I can call andreport on behalf of the kind young man in the front she looked me dead in the eyes and said I DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE YOU MYNAME!.....I didn't persist just said thank you and she walked away. Give this young man a raise and fire this so called managerwho obviously doesn't know how to run a facility properly. Read more
Worth the read if you're looking for FAST. I'm giving ONE star because zero stars is not an option. I frequent this location as... it is close to my work. Be warned this location is also next to a high school.... EXTREMELY BUSY DURING LUNCH TIME. With thatbeing said, I obviously realize this BEFORE deciding to have lunch here each time. The experience I had on Tuesday Oct 11 wasunacceptable. When I arrived at 12:08pm, I ordered from the kiosk as the "waiting area" to receive already placed orders wasvery crowded and it would have been difficult to order at the counter. I ordered a mcdouble bundle with no onions extra pickleand it comes with a small fry. My receipt printed out with time of 12:10pm. I proceed to find a table and wait for my receiptnumber to be called. 20 MINUTES later, I approached the counter and politely asked if my order would be ready soon as I have toreturn to work. The gentleman (no name tag) asked with frustration what was my order? As I began telling him my order, he walkedaway yelling to the kitchen asking for the cheeseburger special. I was TRYING hard to communicate that it's a mcdouble not acheeseburger however, he and other staff (drive thru window) we're yelling "where's that no onion extra pickle cheeseburger".Then a manager lady, again no name tag, points to a bag on a cart where bags of finished orders and drinks wait to be handed tothe customer. The gentleman grabs the bag and hands it to me. I ask for ketchup. He grabs the bag back and adds ketchup. I feelthe fries and they are COLD. I ask for fresh fries. BIG MISTAKE!!!! HUGE. With attitude he proceeded to get me new fries. Hiscoworker at the register says "Can't you see the lobby full of kids" I said "yes but that's no excuse for poor customerservice"! As he was handing the bag back to me, I was already late getting back to work so I inadvertently took the bag a bitquick. Not much enthusiasm with life found here when ordering breakfast. Sadly, this is a local hangout for kids before school and... between their language and conversations it is clear not much parenting is in their life. So much lostness and no real hope intheir lives. very unsatisfied, as i was ordering on the machine the boy who took my order was watching me waiting for me to take my order,... standing out of the side of the kitchen (not a big deal obviously, but still kind of unprofessional). i hit ?order? and got noreceipt printed out so i just kind of looked around and waited about 30 seconds for the receipt. after watching me do that, theboy just screamed ?SEVEN FIFTY FOUR? at me with no other context, i was so confused and i thought he was just telling me theorder number because he had been watching me and not behind the counter so i said ?oh okay, thank you?. then, i walked over topay and he was not paying attention, instead of giving me the money just holding it waiting for me to grab it from his hand, andsaid nothing to me the entire time, not a ?you?re welcome? or telling me my total when i got to the register. literally justscreamed ?SEVEN FIFTY FOUR.? and death stared me the entire time. also the ketchup packets they gave me in the take away bagalready had ketchup or some sauce on the back of the packet and was dirty. i know this is fast food so i shouldn?t expect TOPservice, but c?mon, this was just a terrible experience. The food is horrible. Yes it?s McDonald?s but this is bad and the place is filthy. No tables clean. Someone said you?re gonna... burn your fries and the girl in back said I don?t care, let them burn. My chicken nuggets are jerky. Just awful Read more
I am giving this review 2 stars because the young man at the register was as helpful as he could be. My first choice would be No... Stars. I am sharing my experience with you the way it happened. I am not mentioning names because this is not a personal review.I am prefacing this review by saying; I realize many places are struggling with finding employees. Many managers are workingALOT And I know they are tired. This is NOT an Excuse or Permission to have a negative attitude with your customers. Today isSunday, January 9th. This happened today. I was out running errands and decided McDonald's would be a good place to choose forlunch. I arrived at this location at a good time. Both the drive~thru and dining room were not very busy. I placed my order inperson at the register. Two thirds of my prepared order was placed on the counter in front of me. I stood at the counter waitingpatiently for the last third at Least 3 or more minutes. The young man at the register was now serving a growing line. The otheremployees were ignoring me completely. Then the manager and an employee walked over to the register area so I caught theirattention and mentioned my order was incomplete. I asked which one was the manager and explained what items I was still waitingto receive. The manager was clearly Bothered by my information. She sighed deeply and went about gathering my last few items. Ittook another 5 minutes or more for her to return with my food and drink (Which, I learned later, was the WRONG Flavor drink????)By this time, the lady behind me received her order. Both she and I Had to Ask the manager for the condiments and straws. Whichwere begrudgingly dropped on the counter as if we had asked for something we shouldn't have. Every car had to wait at least 10 minutes in the pull over here and wait parking lot. The burger meat was so burned and... shriveled up. Hardly edible. At least the fries were good. I wont be going back to this location. Read more
