Was just at the mall doing some early Christmas shopping and decided to stop in for dinner. My server Naya (if I remember... correctly) was knowledgeable and friendly. She made me feel at home instantly, and made recommendations on sauces I wouldn'thave normally tried. It was absolutely delicious, and the food was cooked perfectly. Our server Felicia was wonderful. She was very friendly and remembered our orders perfectly. Food was great! We both ordered... burgers cooked medium rare and they came out just as expected. We decided to add on the dollar boneless wings and we loved thoseas well. Got super crispy, flavorful, fresh French fires as our side. The mega frozen drinks were awesome. Good flavor and ahealthy amount of liquor. This was my first experience at an Applebees and I left satisfied and happy. Thank you Falicia for awonderful experience. My family and I visited this location because we were told it is better than the location in our city. The food looked fantastic... and from what I gathered from everyone who ordered food, it was just as good as it looked. I ordered drinks only. The BahamaMama's were great and BOGO; however, the Lime in da Coconut drink was not very good. It consisted of all the mixer and base, butI could not taste a lick of alcohol. The problem with that is each drink costs around $14 and to not have alcohol in it isunacceptable. I will never order that drink again at that location. Ordered a med steak. It was over cooked on one side and raw on the other. I did not get the mashed potatoes or broccoli, I... wanted a side salad, the cucumber had been placed too close to ice and had frozen and turned transparent, (the parts thatweren't just peelings, I mean ) The waitress never came back to see if we needed anything. My husband's tea turned to water andhad to hunt waitress down for salt. THEN I got the bill... full price for steak, $17.26 plus 3$ for salad. I asked the waitressabout it. She got the manager. He was very gracious, he removed the price of the salad and cut the price for the steak. Butstill $32 dollars for a quesadilla burger, 2 teas (no refill), cold fries, my 1/2 eaten raw steak, and substandard salad. Allthis after driving 4 hours to visit a hospitalized family member. First time I've never tipped. We showed up and asked to sit outside and he said to many people were sitting outside so we... couldn't do that (many empty tables) I then get my side salad to start and he doesn't bring my a fork and he says he will beright back. 5 minutes later I'm sitting there with no fork and I go and get my self my own from the bar. Then my financessalad comes and he doesn't bring any cutlery and he says he'll be right back. Instead of going to do that asap he goes and talksto the bartender for a bit before going back into the back to get a fork while we sat there. The double crunch wings had nocrunch. They were super soggy and the guy never came to check on us the whole time we were eating. No refills on waters. Thewaiter is in the wrong industry. My sister and I decided to go out for lunch with her client(special needs.) Upon arrival the two hostesses looked as if they... were in shock the three of us were there to eat let alone more confused when we asked for outdoor seating. Moving along to ourwobbly table on the patio, appetizers were brought out with one salad plate with the utensils and napkins on top although therewas THREE of us. The utensils also looked very cloudy and when wiped it just smeared and smeared. We ordered onion rings andartichoke dip with chips. The chips were on point but the onion rings were cooked for entirely too long. The entrees we orderedwas the shrimp and sirloin with mashed potatoes, a quesadilla burger and the grilled chicken Caesar salad. The steak was orderedmedium rare and came to the table well done. The quesadilla burger was super greasy and running all over the plate(ordered nopink and came as such so kudos) and the salad was probably the best thing to come out as our client doesn?t talk but the chickenlooked to be cooked well and he ate a good portion of his plate. The waitress started off with projection and effort until Iasked for additional plates and a cup of hot water(for the utensils.) after that we barley seen her and when we did she wasborderline whispering. Two of the three drinks were refilled while the third one got refilled when the check came out ????(wherethey do that at?) I personally won?t be returning to this location(Pt Orange has a better vibe) as I?ve had two bad experiencesalready and now that I finally sat down and ate it wasn?t worth the money nor service.
