I live near this waffle house, twice now we try to go eat and they say carry out only or they are closed altogether. Two people... sitting out front smoking doing nothing. ??????? lord have mercy just make some food. Read more
ATTN MANAGEMENT: 6:54pm Tuesday October 4th, restaurant completely empty and as we were setting down we was refused service by... Male waiter and Male cook. When asked why the waiter who was literally doing absolutely nothing stated they were doing to goorders only", Again I asked why we couldn't dine in and he shrugged his shoulders, pointed at the cook and said " I Dont know.Were just only taking to go orders". This was the worst experience my husband and I have had at a Waffle House. Half of the restaurant was blocked off the other half... was dirty. The 1 and only waitress got our drink order and didn't come back she got busy doing dishes and chatting with thecustomers at the counter so the gentleman that was cooking took our order and an older lady took over cooking when we got ourorder bacon was cold we asked for apple butter with raisin toast never got had to remind him of our grits he goes to get thosebrings them back had to ask for butter. When we put butter on them it didn't even start to melt they were cold and clumpingtogether by the time we were able to catch someones attention we had had enough. We were pleasant but when we got up to pay andtold them about the service, food and being ignored the server said I'm the only server here but yet only brought us our drinks.There was at least 4 people there and only half the restaurant opened. On our way to Branson..stopped in for breakfast..walked in place was disgusting and dirty..even the clean tables were... gross..cold in there..sat down guy came over gave us menus asked what we wanted to drink..told him coffee and 10 minutes laterstill didn't come back..and he was heard because it was a small waffle house he wasn't taking orders..who did he think was goingto take ours? We didn't even get coffee..we got up and went to McDonald's..clean , friendly and food was even good..stay awayfrom this waffle house..I would have given zero stars if that was an option.. Read more
Drove from Pennsylvania on the way to St Louis stopped for a bite to eat. Was expecting to be able to sit in the dining room and... was told we can't because of short staffing because someone didn't show up so we ordered the food and the waitress decidedvaping was okay while food was getting made and no hair net for all her hair in the kitchen was okay. Other than that the cookwas nice and pleasant and food was okay. Read more

We had two all star breakfasts, and our eggs were a scrambled with cheese. Ebony made sure we had fresh grits and waffles... light, and hot syrup. Bernard the cook did a great job today, the food was the best ever. Everything fresh and perfect. I wasso glad to be in a place and feel comfortable, no masks which was wonderful. They made us feel like family today. Read more
There were 2 guys in there around 12am. I was told they were called in. There was absolutely nobody else in there to be... served. I saw 2 plates on the counter where somebody was able to eat at the counter prior to me, and was washing the dishes ashe wss telling me its carry out only. I was told they can only supply carry out. The other guy was sitting down at a tabledoing nothing. I went ahead and left as another couple came in to eat. It would make sense about not eating in if the WaffleHouse was busy, but it wasn't.
