Reviews for Prems Chennai Delight in Washington Township, OH
Water is served in styrofoam glass. That’s a big no for me. At an Indian restaurant, the least you expect is your water served... in a steel glass. Good thing- They are short staffed and wait times are longer. Restaurant acknowledges this fact and haswritten it on a board at the entrance. As a consumer and first time visitor at this place, the first board helped lessen theanguish for slow service Their prices are higher than what they were in the past. This fact is also acknowledged and ishighlighted on a board. This seems like a stretch. No one’s asking for justification, why do you wanna explain yourself forsomething that’s just common sense. Coming to the food part, Idlis were the best. Vada that we had was super oily, notsomething you’d expect at a South Indian restaurant. Dosa and chutneys were upto the mark. Overall good food but there’shuge scope for improvement from service standpoint. Waiters were good at communication but please pay them enough so that theycan afford to get some nice clothes and haircut for being decently presentable. Read more
Very Rude service. Their Tikka masala is straight from hell. Watery as if it got drenched in roof juices and it tasted... disgusting. I wonder if they went catching fish and chickens after taking our order. The wait time was about 2 hours or more. When we asked to hurry they gave a weird reply sounded like wait or leave. Not going to this place again. They are too pricyfor the quality of food they give. Very disappointed and hurt. Read more
We picked up the Curry Chicken and the Chili Chicken. The Curry Chicken smelled great, but it had tiny bone shards in the curry.... The Chili Chicken looked and tasted a lot like Buffalo sauce with some Indian spices added, and it only had a few small bits ofonion and pepper thrown in. Read more
The food was delicious I can give 5 for the food mutton biryani was too good . But, the people in the front desk (one girl)was... very rude. One girl who is serving the food , she is literally throwing the food on the table and not friendly. They mentionedthat they increased the prices, but it is too much. In addition to that they charge extra for additional raitha but, they aregiving raitha initially was only 2 ozns. That doesn't make any sense. Read more
This is a hidden gem of a place. The flavors are bold, authentic and the staff are very polite. Don’t expect a fancy... restaurant but the food does the talking. Typical comfort Tamilnadu (South Indian) style food. I tried their Dosa with chettinadchicken curry (5/5) very good. I tired the Chicken Biryani (4/5) the taste and spicy was very good. But a tad bit dry. But theraita and masala complemented it out well. Read more
