I usually love Popeyes. But now twice at this location I have received the wrong order. The first time I just overlooked it. The... second time I checked the food before I left the window. I was handed only half my order. And told to have a nice day. I waskind of confused cuz it was a small bag and I ordered $23 worth of food. Then when the individual came back to the window. Sheproceeded to ask what was wrong. I told her I didn't get my whole order. She seemed frustrated and asked what I didn't receive.I told her I was still missing my chicken tender meal. Then she took off. Come back with a bag I took a fast glimpse and seenchicken tenders. I drove away got to my location. Open the chicken tenders they were so dry and hard plus they wasn't even thespicy. Missing my mashed potatoes, and dipping sauce. I will go back to this location and give them another try. I thought this Popeye's would be different. The 1st day they open it was amazing, but now their HORRIBLE. They be adding extra... Cheese to the Macaroni and a small portion of noodles, you gotta dig through all that extra cheese they add just to find thenoodles. Chicken be Old, they never have what you order red beans and rice don't have beans in it just red paste. The biscuitsbe good and soft for the 1st time EVER. We're originally from the New Orleans area and have been going to Popeye's since the early 1970's. Here in Dayton these past few... years it's been a challenge because they're few and far between. Now we have a franchise within a reasonable distance but it'shit or miss on order accuracy. We always ask for their spicy chicken - it's what they're famous for - but 50% of the time we gethome and it's not spicy. We've spent a lot of time and money over the years and it's not getting any less expensive. The word"spicy" is on the receipt but spicy chicken isn't making it into our order. This generally the best location hence the 5 stars. Today is the only bad experience that why still getting 5 stars for overall... experience. Today the biscuit I received was either moldy or dirty. All other food was and always has been perfect. Greatcustomer service as well. Read more
Best location in Dayton. I've only been here twice but I refuse to go to another location after my first time. There was the... same young man taking my order and a young lady at the window each time. They were both professional, my food was hot and readyquickly. The girl with orange hair was on her phone texting the entire time that I was trying to order. Also argued with me when I said I... had a coupon and told her what deal I had she instantly interrupted me and said no they do not have that and then I finishedgiving her the code and then she said never mind it's different with phones ..... New location, that's fantastic. Ate inside tonight with my wife and children. The staff made sure everything was fresh and we... got our food fast. The general manager stopped by, welcomed us to our first time at this location. He was very attentive, walking around to every table and just checking in on everyone. Read more
Ordered a spicy tender meal with blackened ranch and sweat heat sauce. After waiting 20 minutes I was given regular tenders and... no sauce. This is not the first time this has happened with this location. Unfortunately, this location is similar to the othersin the area.
