Nicest, cleanest IHOP I've been in. It even had a fire in the fireplace! The orders were correct. We had a good waitress. Very... prompt, even though it appeared that she was the only waitress in the while dining room. She did a great job. My only complaintis the prices. High for what you get. Also, $3.29 for a cup of plain coffee is a bit steep. The restrooms were clean & wellstocked. This IHOP was easy to get to, with copious parking. Plenty of room for large rigs. Read more
haven't been to IHOP in so long. this place was pretty packed in the AM. Our server was nice. I'm glad they had turkey bacon!
First time I've ever ate at an IHOP in my life! I was so impressed!I was greeted by the nicest most welcoming host! I even asked... for the kids coloring page&she said sure&brought me the crayons&paper!the restaurant was extremely clean!the lunch counter/barwas beautifully lit w blue uplighting! The waitress was also friendly & welcoming! My friends shared it was my 1st time ever atan IHOP & all the employees went out of their way to make it a most pleasant experience! The brunch I ordered was 2 eggsovereasy, Hash brown, sausage and strawberries w whip cream on beautiful thin crepes added w a pink lemonade w fresh blueberries& strawberries in the drink! It was absolutely delicious, all of it!& I brought the crepes, & left over Hash browns home asthere is a big serving for the great low price! This is hands down the BEST service I have ever had in a restaurant. Although they were short staffed, they allowed my friend... and I to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and food. The benchwood location is also open 24 hours and will have a coffee and icecream bar with a Barista. Read more
Wish I could give this a zero star review. I placed an online order and was supposed to get it at 2:24pm, I tried to do curbside... pick up but no one answered the phone, so went inside. Waited for a few minutes inside before I was greeted by Millie (the onlypleasant experience I had, if you happen to end up at this location ask specifically for her). But anyways so my food wassupposed to be ready at 2:24pm. I didn't get it until 2:40pm. We get home (3 minutes away) and our food was COLD. Like coldcold, and completely overcooked. Stay away from this location, and Millie if you see this, there are plenty of other restaurantshiring wait staff, go be appreciated there. I ordered the new turkey dinner, pictured below, my husband had an everythingsampler and my son had the Mexican burrito. Food was horrible, and don't try to call to get a refund because they don't answer.Absolutely awful experience, location needs new management and cooks. Read more
To be one of the last 24 hours restaurants in Dayton, Ohio they have excellent food and a great waitress. My food was hot and... very delicious taste wise. It may take a few minutes but it was 230am. Our waitress was absolutely amazing with a bubblyattitude. I will be back in the near future. Read more
Walking in, it is clear that this is a refurbished prior Max and Erma's or Applebee's restaurant, as the interior is decorated... with red and wood paneling. There is also an unused bar area. Upon arrival, I gave my name and started waiting in the abandonedbar area. After about 15 minutes of my perceived 30 minute wait, a lady comes out, who was not the hostess and tells us thatanybody who has their name on the list needs to wait in the car because they are only allowed to have 6-8 people due to socialdistancing. I respect the policy, but one, why were people not already told, two, you always have people who ignore it, andthree, with no buzzers or numbers they were asking what types of cars people were waiting in as it was cold outside. I did notfeel that with parking wrapping around the building this was promising. My husband waited right outside the doors so that whenour name was called about another half hour later, we were ready. We sat at the table for another half hour before getting toget our drinks at which time we ordered our meals as well unsure of when the server would return. I had placed my order as simarto the Simple and Fit Breakfast they used to have as possible. With the changes I made, she suggested I order the two egg combo,because it was the same but cheaper. I agreed but I did not remember that being the case. It took another half hour to get thefood and it came with hash rows, which I was trying to not get, as they were tempting. Plus, the plain toast I had required wasbuttered, so really, it was not my desired meal at all. The server was nice and seemed to be doing her best in an understaffedsituation. I did not want to make things worse, especially after the lady next to us, which was funny with all the socialdistancing that they were right beside us with empty tables abound, was abundantly rude to the server. - Order placed on October 26, 2022 @ 0432. - Pick-up time was @ 0447. - I arrived @ 0445 to find no one at the front counter to... help. - Between 0445 and 0458 I was made to wander the facility. It wasn't until 0458 when a hostess finally showed up. She'dalso forgotten one of the items on my order and when I mentioned this to her she claimed it wasn't on the order screen when shelooked at it. I then asked for a copy of my receipt to view the ticket time and the items listed on it - she informed me that"there's no receipt available because it just comes up on a screen for me." (????). I've never heard of a large restaurantfranchise whose POS system doesn't print out a receipt. The establishment is nice, though: surprisingly modern and spacious foran IHOP, so I gave it some stars for that reason. Read more
