Great place!! The atmosphere among the team was very pleasant! They treated everyone very courteously. And the food was amazing!... I don't think I've ever had such a tender chicken sandwich from a fast food restaurant. Read more

Clean inside, friendly employees, good location. If you?ve every had Raising Canes this is eerily similar - chicken, toast,... fries, sauce. The fries have a seasoning on them which gave them a bit more flavor. Noticed the chicken fingers were varyingsizes. Got an 8 piece meal for 2 - some fingers were very small and other decent sized. Will say Canes has bigger tenders andbetter lemonade. They do have salads and wraps that looked tasty. You can get the tenders battered or grilled. Drinks are notincluded in price of meals. Smaller inside area for sitting and they have an outside eating area as well. Read more

When reviewing Chicken Tenders in this area, the question I get is always the same. ?Is it better than Canes?? Well, I?ve never... been that fond of Canes really. I find their Tenders to be pretty tasteless honestly. The only saving grace with Canes is theSauce and the Toast. So if the question as to which is better is solely based on Chicken Tenders, then regarding Huey MagoosTendies, the answer is yes. They are better than Raising Canes. The Tenders are not too plump, flavorful and Juicy. Plus theycome in ways that Canes would never even hear of. Tossed in sauce, grilled, In a salad or even in a wrap. I got the 3 tendercombo with fries tossed in Sweet Heat sauce with a side of their special sauce and house made ranch. Sauce was delicious, sweetheat was very good and the ranch was delicious as well. The crinkle fries were fried to perfection with seasoning salt on themas well. Very very good. The only drawback was the toast. Good, but not great. 5 stars is based on the Tenders which they dovery well. Check them out. You won?t be disappointed. Read more

Restaurant prices, fast food quality. The people that took our order were nice and courteous, but inflation prices can't be... balanced with a friendly attitude. The building is clean but crowded due to the set up. Crinkle cut fries lightly seasoned withwhat seems to be seasoned salt, the quality was that of frozen air fried fries. Not great, but not bad. The wrap was a mess. Itwas wrapped like a soft taco so all the sauces leaked out. They were toothpicked to hold them together, but with a completelyopen "taco" fold it didn't really help. Sweet tea has watermelon juice in it I believe, which is.. Alright? If not aninteresting choice. The lemonade was more acidic/sour than I care for. Drinks are not included in meals, which is peculiar..Methinks it's just to generate extra revenue. All and all, a Cane's clone. Huey Magoos was founded after Cane's and its clearthat inspiration was taken. Probably won't be back without coupons, just can't justify spending over $20 for mediocre almostfreezer quality food. This is the 2nd time we've ordered from here. The first time was nearly perfect!! Best chicken strips we've ever had! My husband... opted for extra seasoning on his fries the first time, but I was leary, so I didn't. His were perfect, mine could have beenseasoned a little more. Tonight I ordered extra seasoning on my fries, and I think they dumped half the container!! Everythingwas so salty my mouth is on fire and I couldn't finish my dinner!! ???? Could we please have some consistency and not pull astunt like this? Totally ruined the experience. Instead of looking forward to dinner here again, I'll have to think twice. Read more

In the opening days I would have given them 5 stars. Tenders were a good size and everything was great. When New restaurants... open they are ALWAYS great and then....... DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! My 3 piece tender meal was UTTERLY RIDICULOUS. Why can'trestaurants continue what they started that kept you wanting more. They haven't even been open long. Then they wonder why theygo out of business. Let's just say that a 2 yrs old could have ate one tender in two baby bites and I am not exaggerating. ???????????? Read more

I was excited for another restaurant to open in our area and had never heard of this one until I saw the sign during remodeling.... They just recently opened so I figured I'd stop in for a late lunch. I grabbed a menu and made my selection. I have many yearsof customer service so I'm always looking and listening! Anyway, the cashier was a bit "green" but friendly though she keptreplying "huh?" when she couldn't hear me or thought I'd said something-that was my first turnoff. In making my sauce choice, Iasked what the Magoo sauce was and she said "it's like Cane's"-that was my second turnoff because I was really hoping forsomething about this new restaurant to "stand out" but I was still eager to try it. Once home and opened the box, I could prettymuch see that it was definitely "just another chicken tender place." The coleslaw has no flavor. The Magoo sauce tastes likeCane's sauce does though the sweet heat sauce is yummy! The crinkle cut fries being my favorite type, has a seasoning shaken onit but it appears to only add a bit of color and no added flavor. The chicken, though tender, took a back seat to the sweet heatsauce! I didn't really find any of the food to be AWESOME, though their menu boasts "the filet mignon of chicken." Maybe thatreference is for the tenderness because the taste just isn't there, in my opinion. Maybe as time goes on there will beimprovement but for now I will let those who try and like it, enjoy it. The wrap is full of fresh greens and tender, juicy chicken. The French fries have a seasoning that is delicious and the... watermelon ice tea is so refreshing! Read more
