Good food. Generous size alcoholic drinks.

Took my 4-year-old grandson to Culp's while visiting Carillon park. Menu items are pricy, even for kid's items. We shared a... burger, fries, and a milkshake. Fries were wonderful; burger meat tasted like it had been prepared in a microwave oven; shakewas very good, though small for the price. Only reason it got a 4 star is because I feel it needs it. Food was okay, nothing to write home about...but the nostalgia of... the milkshake and phosphorus soda was worth it. Now the cost of items isn't cheap, they have to pay for the wages some how. Have your wallet ready. Read more

By Far this one of my favorite places to it, I love the atmosphere with the waiters and waitresses dressed in olden time... clothing and the train you can dine in just like going back in time. I love the breakfast food , lots to choose from and thepeople always so nice. It is a great place to eat at. Read more

Was not busy at all inside the restaurant and after we were seated and our orders were taken, we only seen our waiter once when... our drinks were brought to our table. We ordered very simple lunches such as a grilled cheese sandwiches and a chicken wrap,took well over 30 minutes since the order was taken and he never came back to refresh our drinks during that time. My son loved eating on the street car. The food is wonderful! Definitely a must if you are visiting the park.

Treated my mom to lunch today, a Monday, and everything was absolutely perfect. The restaurant was about 1/3 full, so our... experience was better than average in terms of seating and receiving our orders in a timely fashion. Such a fun place! Theclub sandwich was huge, fries excellent, and my Croque Monsieur: a grilled ham and cheese smothered in béchamel and topped witha fried egg. OMG Scrumptious!!! Will eat here again for sure!!! Went to Culp's for breakfast. Didn't start off well as it was quite chilly inside the cafe. The server stated they were having... problems with the HVAC unit. had coffee (very good) and that help warm me up. I ordered the Culp's Cafe Platter. The dish wasquite good (but cooled off due to the indoor temp) and fixed just right. The onion and peppers and gravy were good. The hamchunks were nicely sized and had a nice smoky taste. Eggs fixed just as ordered. Service was commendable. Since the facility isvery new, it was very nice inside and very clean with a 1940-50 soda fountain decor. Kudos to the decorator. All in all, verysatisfied (except for the cool surroundings, which should be temporary). I plan to return to try out some of the other dishes. Read more
