Probably the worst experience I've had at a Cracker Barrel. Poor service and poorly cooked food lead the negatives. Tables were... not dirty, just not clean if that makes sense. I had taken 3 work associates here. We walked from the local hotel. It was alittle embarrassing to be honest. Definitely not what I expected. Maybe chalk it up to mid-week visit after 8 PM. Read more

I arrived approximately 1:30 in the afternoon. Got seated right away. I must have been seated at the one table that had no... server. There were 3 groups seated after me in the same general area and their orders were taken promptly. I waited with themenu opened in front of me until food was being delivered to people who arrived after me and my order was never taken. Idefinitely will never return there. Read more
Cracker Barrel has really fallen off the map!. The service here is absolutely HORRIBLE!. They over seat ppl exhausting their... waitresses, causing numerous amount of time to be waited on. My experience here will be the last. The workers here are all underpaid and it shows. Quality of food have decreased poorly. From burnt pancakes, to hard casserole, and hard ham. It's ridiculous, the quality of the food has not been the same. The manager here sucks! If he been on his A game, the kitchen would be bringingout great quality food and service. I ordered Chicken Fried Steak with green beans and Hash Brown casserole. I was very disappointed in my meal tonight, the hash... brown casserole, the potatoes were not cooked fully. They also gave me a spoonful of green beans like they were feeding a youngchild. The server also forgot my granddaughters ranch dressing. I did tell the server about my potatoes and she looked like shewas lost. Both of my granddaughters enjoyed their meals. Read more
This was incredibly disappointing for a restaurant that has served quality food for decades. The server, Lori, was polite, but... ignored my changes to my order, even asking if I had any changes. My eighties were over cooked and cold. The fruit cup had fivewhole pieces of cut fruit, three strawberry halves and two pineapple chunks. The regular eggs my daughter received were clearlynot really scrambled and also cold. The gravy was tasteless, which ended up making the biscuits (the only good part of the meal)taste bad. The pancakes were way overcooked and they wasted grits, giving them to me after it was another requested removeditem. I had specifically requested no tomato slices and received three that soaked into my other food. We ate, out ofnecessity, but especially after waiting fifteen minutes past the expected 35 minutes, what a disappointment. Read more

Comfort food for anyone anywhere, especially in Dayton, Ohio. This restaurant is located on the west side of I-75 and on the... west side of Miller lane. It is located along a line of hotels and food options along that same road. This particular one is afranchise boasting family food. There are 664 of these stores as of November 1, 2022, with Ohio having 31. This location hasplenty of parking all around the stand-alone building that houses it. The front porch faces Miller lane and has rocking chairswith tables for checkers. Inside the front door, there is a shop with many items from books to toys. The hostess seated mequickly. The dining area is split into several sections of wooden tables and booths with lots of aged memorabilia on the wall.The waitress came to take my order quickly and was friendly and helpful. I ordered pancakes with iced tea and I was notdisappointed. The food came out quickly and was delicious with their small bottles of maple syrup. The cost was reasonable forwhat I ordered. Overall, it was a very pleasant and delicious meal, friendly people, a convenient location, and a reasonableprice and I would recommend this location to my fellow travelers. Read more
