Went tonight with my mom and stepdad (Saturday) He ordered ribs and baked potato she had herb chicken and baked potato I had a... burger. For the most part the food was really good just not very hot. Baked potatoes were not good at all. They tasted like theywere pre baked and reheated. Service was very slow. Took about 2 hours to have dinner. We sat with empty drinks for 20 minutes.We did here someone at the bar saying they were in need of a cook. Won't be back anytime soon. Read more

This is as pretty nice tavern with a good selection of food and drinks. Unfortunately, all the food items I originally wanted to... order were unavailable, that was a bummer but the server recommended another choice and it was pretty good. Service can be slow at times, but the overall quality of the food more than makes up for it. The service team is very attentive... to the patrons needs and wants. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious meal choices. The fresh baked bread has an amazingflavor that keeps you wanting more. This was the second time I was there. This place has become my family restaurant when we take our annual trip to Hamvention. The... food has been great every time. They cook their steaks perfect every time. Last year I got the fish...perfect...this year I gotthe porter house..even better. I have been to places that are rated better according to food critics and I feel this place maynot have the ambiance of a 5 star restaurant...but their food is way beyond 5 stars.
