This is probably the best Nigerian restaurant in the Cincinnati/Columbus/Dayton area. The food was so good that I ate 3 pounded... yams, and still bought extra food for the road. The owner is also very friendly, and personable. The restaurant itself is cleanand don't smell like the typical Nigerian kitchen. I have definitely found my new joint. Read more

Tried African food for the first time and I loved it. The peppered goat with fufu was fantastic! The meat pie was really good... too. Not a big fan of the Egussi but it was my first time. I may need to eat it more to learn to like the flavor. This place isran by really nice people. Really recommend supporting this place! Read more

I?ve had a lot of African food and I was elated when I found out that a new African restaurant opened up in Clayton because most... are in Columbus and Cincinnati so it?s nice having something close to me as well as for the people in the Dayton area. Gettingon to the food?I had the fufu and egousi soup and got it to go. I usually have it with chicken, but I wanted to try it with goatmeat so I went for it! The flavors were amazing and rich and I could taste the love in every bite and this place makes me happy!I will be definitely be back and I can?t wait to try more items off the menu and I?ve been telling all of my friends about thisplace because I can guarantee you it?s worth it and you won?t be disappointed!! Placed an order over the phone and was told it would take 10 minutes. Got there 17 minutes after placing my order because I stay... a distance from the restaurant. When I got there my order wasn't ready and it was as if she forgot I placed one. Granted; shewas a very nice lady and apologetic. She asked for 7 more minutes and I had no issue with that. The problem I have is thatafter driving that distance, waiting longer and paying over 17 dollars for jollof rice, a leg quarter and plantains the fooddidn't have a spec of seasoning or spice. The jollof rice is tomato sauce and rice. There wasn't a spice, seasoning onion oranything in it. Now, Ive had African food from all over and often. This is my first time displeased. Maybe they're trying to beon the safe side and appease a certain demographic but I urge them to stay true to their way of cooking. I could've went toKroger and got a whole chicken and uncle ben's minute rice from the store. Read more
