I just tried Sweet Charlie's through a DoorDash order (the sweet charlie's portion was an add-on to a meal order). This was my... first time having anything from Sweet Charlie's. I tried a chocolate chunk and a snickerdoodle. The cc cookie was good, but notnecessarily amazing. The snickerdoodle was certainly above average, as far as its texture and flavor. I will say that I wasexpecting the cookies to be bigger, since they are $2 each. They are the same size as cookies one might make at home from theprecut dough. The size was fine (and I probably didn't need huge ones) but I'm not sure that two cookies of that size are worth$4. Then again, I used to work in malls so I frequented cookie establishments with cookies 3x that size for the same price (andthat was not through DoorDash, so no upcharges on that front). Overall, they were good and I have already decided I will orderthem again to at least try the other flavors. $4 for two cookies might warrant 3 stars if both tasted like the CC, but thatsnickerdoodle... Better than we expected! Cookie sandwich and 2 cups were awesome. So hard to find good service right now and Charlie's staff... was super nice/fast AND they were hosting birthday party at the same time! Kudos to them. Read more
I had a great experience there! The staff are friendly and don't rush you as you make your decisions about exactly what sort of... ice cream you're wanting to create! They have tons of mix-in options that allow you perfect the exact flavors you're wanting,and because of their technique your ice cream dish comes out expertly mixed. I personally recommend the apple pie with caramelsauce on top, it's the perfect amount of flavors for a fall treat. Read more
This was my first experience with a rolled ice cream concept. It was such a cool experience! A lot of options when it comes to... flavors and toppings. Also, there is a VEGAN option! Genuinely friendly service and of course the ice cream was amazing. Justtake note that since this is a different process than normal churn style ice cream, you may have a little wait. Welcome to Dawsonville, Sweet Charlie?s! The staff was friendly, the line moved pretty fast and you could tell that the owner... was appreciative that we were there. The ice cream was delicious- I had vanilla ice cream with bananas and Nutella. My wife andkids loved it also. What a fun concept! The only recommendation I have is to add larger trash cans as they small ones wereoverflowing. Can?t wait to come back. Read more
First time at this location. Store is lit up brightly and well-kept. Great customer service. For anyone not familiar with the... concept, all bases, ingredients, toppings, and drizzles are chosen. You can get your customized ice cream - mixed and made onthe spot - in options of cones, cups, or donut in the shape of a hotdog bun. The overall quality is better in my opinion, youcan definitely taste a difference and prices are slightly higher than other competitors but then again, everything is made fromscratch. Read more
