So sad to say but this place has really gone down hill. It smells like the sewers inside the building. The pizza is over priced... but it use to be very good so it was worth it, not anymore. A few years ago they had the best salad bar in Davis but it lookeddirty and I would be scared to eat from it now. I don't know if they have changed owners or what but it was thoroughlydisappointing. So disappointing. Accouple years back I used to love their pizza & salad bar. I went thete today and the place literally stunk... like it had sewer issues. The salad bar was a mess even though it basically empty in the restaurant. I went to order a simplemedium 2 topping pizza 1/2 pepperoni & olive and 1/2 pineapple & ham and they wanted to charge me $33.00! 16..99 for the mediumsize and $2×4 for the topping, even though there would only be 2 topping on wach side. Needless to say we walked out and willnever return. It's too bad, I had a lot of good memories from Steve's for several years. I don't know if they changed owners orwhat but totally downhill now. We ordered a large double Pepperoni pizza and a Chicken & Broccoli Fetticini Alfredo. They both were amazing and fresh!... Absolutely no complaints, thanks for the delicious take-out supper last night!!! We will definitely be back!! Read more
Gosh I hadn?t been here the entire pandemic. Pre pandemic we loved to sit here and relax, happy hour felt like forever and we... would enjoy cheap appetisers feeling like we were in no hurry to move along! - being back inside really gave me a big moment ofwishing for that kind of normalcy! They have Super tasty pizza! Love the Italian sausage and on this occasion cute heartshape! - it was valentines We love their spicy garlic twists - these replaced the breadsticks as our favorite appetiser on thehappy hour pre Covid! If you're looking for a flavour kick I highly recommend them! Oh and they have spicy ranch now! I feellike I don't remember that being a thing before! - Loved it! Ordered the margherita, got what appears to be cheese pizza with tomato slices and basil dust. Not the most impressive take on... the style but hey it's still pizza. Take a bite though and you'll realize there's no sauce. Those dry tomato circles aresupposed to cut it. You ever had margherita pizza, Steve? The tomato's pretty much the whole affair. Overall it's certainlyedible but I think if you're looking to spend $30 on cheese bread you can still probably do better than this. Read more
Came for lunch just after the main rush. Place was clean and homey. Very pleasant and welcoming arrangement with plenty of... tables and seating arrangements for all types of parties. Ordered a lunch special with a salad bar trip, drink, and pizza.Fairly priced at $11. Salad bar was very well stocked and very clean. Things were fresh and tasted great. The soda fountain hasa seemingly endless combination of soda options. Pizza came out very quickly. Crispy crust, and good cheese and toppings.Flavor was good. Anytime I?m in Davis or South Sac, I have to stop by my favorite Pizza joint, ?Steve?s Pizza.? My order is always a half ?Club?,... half ?Steve? (combo), twists with cheese, onion and jalapeños (spicy mayo on the side)....and lastly...the ClassicCheeseburger! It?s way too much food for my wife and I but the doggie bag comes in handy later in the day when it almost seemslike it taste even better! ???? I like Steve?s because their pizza crust is so airy and the toppings are plentiful (as you cansee in the picture). Honestly, the burger is really good! If you feel like pizza, order the Classic Cheeseburger on the sideand split it in 2 or 4s. You?ll be pleasantly surprised! Holy cow, burger was really good. Very surprised coming from a pizza place, but I knew they entered the town burger battle so I... wanted to try it. Also got bread sticks and their marinara is some of the best in town I think. Read more
