I love the food here. Everything is perfect. Everything about this place rocks. The Texas toast rocks. The coleslaw rocks. The... sauce and the chicken rocks. I love that they're open late too. Read more

So I finally gave "Canes" a try and must say I was very pleased. Sat in restaurant on a Saturday afternoon, packed line to... order, packed house, but restaurant was clean, staff was courteous and polite. The menu is simple but with good choices if youare wanting chicken tenders / fingers. We had three options, a 4 piece combo, 3 piece and a kids meal. All were cooked well, not along wait at all considering the volume we were seeing. Chicken tenders were very tasty, sauce was very good and went wellwith the chicken, and served with crinkle cut fries and a piece of Texas toast, and ordered house lemonade, which was delicious. Food was of good quality, and the price was right as well All in all had a great expierience and if your eye happens to catcha "Raising cane" and you are hungry for chicken, I'd definitely say give it a try. Until next time bon appetit...... Read more

The wait time wasn't bad. There's no drive thru. The food is delicious. Great atmosphere.

Came here at 6pm on a Saturday night. There was a long line but the wait was only about 15 minutes in line and another 15... minutes wait for the food. For about $10, there was SO much food so it is pretty value. The chicken was hot, crispy, and moist. The crinkle cut fries were crispy which is rare in other restaurants. I really liked the slaw as well because it was not soheavy on the mayo. They pride themselves on the sauce but I feel like they give so little so I had to order more sauce for extra39 cents. I wish they gave the sauce away for free since they pride themselves in it. To describe the sauce, it's a veryvinegary and super black peppery thousand island sauce. It was pretty good except I'm not a huge black pepper lover which isjust me. I would definitely come here again for a snack once the hype goes down. Read more

Something new to me. This in Davis CA. Chicken is tender, tasty but not overwhelming. I like the few items to choose as this... doesn't make me overwhelmed by too many things to choose. The food is very good. I also learned why it was named Raising Cane. Iwill go back again with my family. Read more

Life-long fried chicken lovers here, especially spicy friend chicken. Unfortunately, we just had a very disappointing family... meal. Everything tasted pre-made, like it was sitting around all day. Nothing was hot. Nothing was fresh. Everything was limpand bland, from the chicken to the fries, bread and slaw. Chicken had little flavor and left a greasy film in the mouth. Therewasn?t one thing that rose above mediocrity. We spent $52 for the meal and would not think of doing it again. This review is forRaising Cain in downtown Davis, 12/2/2021. Read more
