Recently redesign from takeout street food to sit-down dining (with takeout available). Much improved menu and diversity of... food. Completely rebranded as Paste Thai in June 2022 - Reviews prior to that are for Chicken Hawker branding which had a verylimited menu of Chicken and Rice served a few different ways. Read more
What a nice little restaurant. The sampler appetizer dish was so much food and literally the best egg rolls I've ever had. It... did take quite awhile for the food to come out, but it definitely was worth the wait. I would absolutely recommend you givethis place a try!! Read more
I ate here with a friend just after they opened, and both of us agreed this was excellent Thai Food. Large portions, super... tasty, better than anything else in town. Excellent service. I will be eating here again. NOTE! THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITHTHESE GOOGLE REVIEWS -- some are up to a year old, yet this place opened around June 1, 2022. So please fix this, Google. Just tried Paste Thai after they took over the same space as Chicken Hawkers? pleasantly surprised! The staff were friendly and... appreciative of the support, especially since they only just opened. The Drunken Noodles had good flavor and the Green Curry wasrobust. My favorite was the Spring (Salad) Rolls with Shrimp - I would go back again and again just for those! Read more
This is the classic restaurant, they focus on only a few items and they make them perfectly! The chicken here is quite amazing,... good spice, well cooked, fresh ingredients, the best wings in Davis, and the soup is tremendous. There are a couple of indoortables and a good number of outdoor tables. It seems takeout is the primary approach to getting food here. Try The ChickenHawkers, you will not be disappointed! Read more
