I love milk & cookies... but this was overrated. Cookies were burnt, taste store bought. Tried to ask for a box so we can put... our mini dippers and icream in and eat as we walk around, but the employee refused to sell us one. Not sure what the idea behindthat is..... but whatever. Very disappointed with this place. For starters I was expecting that cookies were chewy and moist. The cookies were cold, dry... and almost burnt. Cold and dry would also be the best to describe the staff working there. One of the staff was on her secondday she seemed struggling and the lady in the back did not seem to care to help her. The lady in the back had the vibe that shewanted us to leave immediately, I never felt welcome. I requested if the restroom could be opened and she immediately said"EMPLOYEES ONLY!". It was so weird because the restroom was located in an accessible place for customers. Additionally therewere no signs that the restrooms were for employees only. I DO NOT recommend this place for desert and recommend to avoid it atall cost. Unless, staff would be trained to treat their customers better I do not see success in this place. Treating restaurantstaff with utmost respect is a philosophy I value but I hope it can be reciprocated towards customers. Read more
Let me first start of with how much I appreciate this place being open so late into the night, even on weekdays. However, the... amount of energy and excitement surrounding the reviews and just national attention felt a little overrated after I got there.Quoted as the perfect place for students, I would actually disagree considering the price of the cookies; a single one being $2and very little saved if you bought a box or bundle. And the later in the night it got, the less chance there was for you to buythe smaller ones for a lesser price. The only reason I place it 4/5 stars is because of the price. So excited to stumble across this walking through downtown. Had experienced Insomnia Cookies in New York a few years back and... when we saw this we practically ran inside, well we did actually... this was exactly as we remembered and kids were excited toget the Big Wich which is 2 cookies of your choosing sandwiched with either ice cream or our absolute fave, buttercreamfrosting! ???? so this place opens at noon but stays open until 1 am so if you want milk and cookies or the Lil dipper box(just get it) you won't be disappointed. You may need to run ??????? on the treadmill an extra hour tho.... Read more
