Have tried Huku several times over many years as we pass through Davis. Always enjoyable, but they seem to have stepped up... their game. It's now superb. Excellent dishes, rolls, sushi, staff, and pleasant environment. Worth going out of your way ifyou're in the mood for Japanese. On par with anything in the Bay Area, and fat better than most. We stumbled onto this wonderful sushi restaurant since we came here to eat at the Taqueria Guadalajara Grill right next door,... but it was closed that day due to maintenance. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the fish, the generous portions,the friendly staff and how delicious everything we tried was. They also have this new way cool robot assistants server thatfollows the servers to deliver your food table side. We definitely will be back and this is now our new Davis favorite!!! Read more

After trying all sushi restaurants in Davis, we've finally found the best place. Great customer service and great sushi options.
Second time at this place. They have very good COVID measures going on to make sure that people feels safe. The food was tasty... and well done. That avocado bowl is a fusion dish that grab our attention. Tasty, sweet and spicy at the same time. Onebasically uses chips to eat it. The rolls are superb. The sashimi seems fresh and they serve big pieces. The size was a bitlarger for our taste but good overall. Will definitely go back. Read more
While visiting a friend in Davis, he took me to Huku since it was one of his go to places. I really enjoyed the bistro and... enjoyed the robot server. We got there as it opened so there was no wait but was quickly filling up on a Saturdayafternoon. The menu is very extensive and I cannot speak to the quality of the sushi since I don't eat seafood but my friendloved his order. I enjoyed a delicious bento box with chicken and beef. Huku was clean and the staff was friendly. This is agreat spot to visit while in Davis. Read more
