Tried steak 'n shake for the first time, ordered via their app to get curbside delivery. After waiting 15 minutes I called... inside and they said it was almost ready, waited another 5 minutes and had to go inside. The inside of the restaurant smelledlike pure grease, and after talking with three different people and almost 20 minutes later we finally received our food... Soour "fast" food essentially took 40 minutes.. as for the food itself The only thing worth talking about were the fries whichwere actually not too bad however we also had onion rings which were more like grease rings, they were undercooked. the burgerswere nothing to write home about and we had ordered a cookie dough milkshake and a cotton candy milkshake which were basicallyjust pure sugar. This place is my family's go to! Quick service, good food and always consistent! Love their 4$ MEALS! Great value and great... tasting food. I'm able to feed my family of 6 for just under 30 bucks, THAT is a steal. Read more

First time here and probably my last...wasn't impressed. The service was good. The food in my opinion was overpriced.

I decided to take my kids to steak and shake yesterday. What a disappointment. Steak and shake is no longer a family friendly... restaurant. You have to order from a kiosk that is extremely limited. Cannot customize your order. The order was taking long. Myson asked for a cup. To get water. The lady charged ten $2.49 for a 10 ounce Styrofoam cup. I have the receipt to prove it. Atthis rate. Listen ! I don?t know who was working 1/21/22 and 6pm but? MY FOOD WAS BOMB AF! The burger was hot and fresh and made correctly!... It was delicious! I?ve been here about 10 times the last couple months now, it became a regular quick sit down easy meal that was solid, but today... they were ?closed? at 11:30pm with cars steadily ordering in the drive through and other people sitting down eating still.
