I always normally love this restaurant but tonight on a Saturday night I called the restaurant for a quick small takeout order... at 9:00 as the restaurant closes at 9:30 and I was advised that they've already cleaned and closed down the kitchen. This wasdisappointment from the restaurant we love to go to on the weekend. I already closed and completely cleaned up at 9:00 thatmeans they probably closes at 8:00. Read more

Absolutely ridiculous place. They tried to charge me THREE dollars because I asked for no onions in my rice... 3 EXTRA dollars... to not add an ingredient. Wow?.. I normally don?t leave a negative review to any place I dine in. However, I wanted to share my experience for anyone who... may face this in the future. I went into China Island because I think their food is great, but today will be the last time theyget any business from me. I went in there and politely asked if they had Apple Pay. Simple question right? Instead of a polite,?no.? I felt degraded as I was asked a few times back to back, like I was dumb, if ?I couldn?t read the sign.? Her voice wasraised and she was pointing as she kept asking this. . I simply wanted to know one thing. Even after this barbaric behavior Istill said thank you. How dare anyone be so disgusting and disrespectful over one question? Your food is good, but there arebetter places where they greet you with a smile instead of across the restaurant or with an an attitude. Sorry, but take yourbusiness elsewhere.
