Went for dinner with another couple. Heard this was a mom & pop hole in the wall restaurant. Wasn?t expecting too much. Server... was super friendly and knowledgeable. Food was marginal. Paying $40 for a ribeye I thought it was be amazing but we didn?t findthat. I was actually quite shocked at the pricing for the steaks. I as told to definitely get the hash browns. We had the best experience at Tappa?s Steak House! This is a very casual, cozy place. Our food was amazing. The soup was so... flavorful and I could tell it was homemade. Our steaks were INCREDIBLE, definitely some of the best steaks we?ve ever had. Theywere cooked perfectly. Jan was so welcoming and friendly. By the time we left, I wanted to be best friends with her! The pricesare also extremely reasonable. We ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer, two steaks with hash browns, a slice of pie with ascoop of icecream, two glasses of wine and two beers, and our bill was around $85 before tip. Service was great and quick. Steak was tender and cooked as ordered. Flavor was a bit lacking. Definitely will go back.
