My husband and I were driving up towards Galena and decided to pick up some dinner in Davenport. When looking at best... restaurants, I didn't need to look beyond Me & Billy as that's my husband's name! Billy! Not Bill, not William. So wewould've gone there even if it had bad reviews. I loved the service! The bartender was a really great representation of thisestablishment. He was friendly, helpful, super upbeat. Rare these days! The ONLY reason I gave it a 4 star is because mysalad was missing the one ingredient I was most looking forward to, the BURRATA CHEESE! It was not a cheap salad after addingprotein, so I was super bummed as we had already started driving towards our final destination before I even opened thecontainer. My husband LOVED his shrimp and grits. He said the flavor profile was the best he'd ever had and he would've saidthey were the best had the grits not been cold. He actually ate his right away so no excuse there really. He's from NC andhas had this dish many times in his life so that's crazy that it's now his 2nd favorite! If I lived in the area I woulddefinitely make this a regular dining spot. Read more
Great ambiance with eclectic style. Our server Sarah was awesome. My mom told her it was my birthday and she came back to our... table with a delish chocolate cheese cake (I despise cheesecake)! We started off with the amazing nachos with a plan for a fullmeal. Needless to say, the nachos are huge. We plan to try their Trademark shrimp and Grits another time. Nice downtown restaurant with great lighting and ambiance. Food is good and the service is friendly. The cocktail menu is quite... Extensive. They?re also open until 2 am on Friday and Saturday nights. Would go back again for sure. Read more

Retiring to Me & Billy after 4 years. The place only gets better. The food is delicious the bar is beautiful. The cocktails are... always amazing. We are from out of town but we have a great bubbly experience that will keep us coming back. You will be greetedby billy when you come here which is so nice and important. The crab Napoleon was out of the world I could eat it every day andit will never get old. Read more
Atmosphere was good, service was good, and the food was good but a little cold. The plates were really hot when we got them but... then the food was on the colder side. Grits were great. The NY strip was very tough, ordered medium rare. I know it doesn't havemuch fat buttttt for the price it was set at they should have chose a better cut of meat. 9-17-2021 Lunch-So we have been trying lots of cheese curds since they are ?A THING? up here and I have to declare that this... restaurant has the best thus far, even better than we had at the fair. My second visit here and have never been disappointed. What more can you ask for when the owner greets you, thanks for your... business, food quality is from the freshest ingredients, and cooking from a make to order kitchen.
