Reviews for Lunardi's Restaurant in Davenport, IA
The wait staff made us feel like we were at home and mom was serving us; perfect amount of attention balanced with leaving us... alone to enjoy the evening. Food was excellent, hot and flavorful. The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired. I would loveto see the owners move out of a strip mall and get their own building. Read more
I've never had a bad experience at Lunardi's. I've dined in and also had carry-out. The lasagna is fantastic! Tonight I shared... the sauteed mushroom appetizer and I had a deep dish pizza with meatballs and fresh garlic. The mushrooms were sauteed perfectlyand the garlic butter was perfectly seasoned with herbs. The pizza was very flavorful and the crust was light and airy. Thewaitress was attentive, but not intrusive. Lunardi's is one of my favorites when I visit Davenport. Read more
This is a nice little Italian restaurant located in a strip mall. The inside was clean, and very busy. The food was really good.... We had the gluten-free pasta Alfredo and the Hero pasta, and some drinks. Our waitress was super friendly and took great care ofus. They have a nice gluten-free menu with lots of choices. The minestrone was quite good as well. Portions are large. Read more

The absolute BEST shrimp Alfredo I have ever had! The lasagna was very delicious too. Definitely will be back!
I ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo, and my wife ordered the sizzling chicken salad to go. My chicken alfredo came with... really good alfredo and sauce, but the chicken was 3oz tops, was not succulent instead came tough and was enough to have a smallpiece of chicken with 7 bites of the meal, and after the chicken was gone i was left with 25 bites of fettuccine alfredo withjust sauce. For $20, the most i have ever paid for chicken fettuccine alfredo ever, this does not even come close to the pricepoint they are charging. (I lived in kansas city, and they charged $15 for allot better) My wife's sizzling chicken came lookinglike stir fry, and her salad came in a to go container sitting in a 1" of liquid in the bottom of her to go container. Who wantsa soggy salad? Awful experience. Read more
This place is busy. It is like a mom and pap shop. The staff is super friendly. The food quality is good. The portion is... right on. The soup is a bit on the salty side. The pasta is a bit cold. The price is about 25 per person with tip, given thatyou don?t drink. Read more
We waited to be seated. They were very busy on a Saturday night. It was worth the wait. Our food was excellent, as was the... service. We had a leisurely dinner including dessert. We had chicken Marsala, pesto with pasta, spaghetti with three types ofmeat, tiramisu. Our dinners included salads and garlic bread. There were leftovers to take home. They will take reservations forparties of six or more. Since we had three people in our group, we waited about 30 minutes or so. This is our favorite Italianrestaurant in Davenport. I recommend. It is very good food. Read more
