This was once a great place to eat. Now it?s a sad excuse for a restaurant. The quality is horrible quality the customer... service is horrible, making the orders correct is horrible. Stay away from 53rd and division u spend 45.00 and don?t get extrameat or cheese on our sandwiches, no extra mayo, cold mushy waffle fries. I tried to call and I could drive back I live30minutes away. This is not my first bad experience l, but it will be the last because hungry hobo doesn?t care about theeecustomers. I just wasted my money. I will have to say good bye to one of the quad cities best. No it?s quad cities worst. Read more

I paid $22 for about 15 inches of bread. Asked for extra cheese, didn't get it. Also the meat and cheese was so thinly sliced, I... hardly noticed it was on the bread... So in conclusion the (bread part of the bread sandwich) was good, but I don't know how themeat and cheese tasted... ?????????... Read more

First time eating at any Hungry Hobo location and the food that I ordered tasted good! I did feel rushed when looking at the... menu, and the girl taking my order wasn't the friendliest. I know everyone has rough days which is why I wasn't going to writethis, but after looking at the other reviews for this location I can see that there might be an attitude problem going on here. The man and the woman in the back making the food did smile at me and appear to be friendly and hard at work! One star for theservice, but two stars because the food was good. Read more

I was visiting my son and went here to pick up subs for the family. The red haired young lady taking orders developed an... attitude because I was not familiar with the ordering process. She became very impatient. Thumping her pen on paper andexpressing a lack of the completion of the order. My first experience with what I would describe as age discrimination. Read more

One of the worst visits I have had at this location was today! The young employees all but ignored the customers. I ordered... waffle fries, and they were forgotten about, until one of them spoke up and said something about order of fries was done. Thenthey still sat there till that same employee brought them out. I had already gotten my sandwich, which clearly had not risencorrectly before baked. I asked her what happened to the bread as it tasted off. She just shrugged her shoulders, said I don'tknow, and walked away. They were all laughing and such behind the counter, but could barely talk to the customers? No greeting,no smiling, nothing to suggest a welcome. Really going to think twice before coming back here. What a refreshing restaurant compared to the tired Subways. Nice and clean, very well staffed, and the bread and ingredients... were super fresh. The service was so good I got my food and ate it during my 15 break. They offer waffle fries or cookies orchips as part of the sandwich meal. I tried the fries?awesome. Note from the menu board they offer other foods including freshsoups of the day. I?ll be back. No Wifi. Update: I've been eating here three times weekly for weeks now. Some comments: they seem to have an ever-changing rotation of trainees at the ordering position. Slows things down and is highly annoying whenthere is a lunch line. Didn't realize when I gave it five stars that your order taker will upsell you cheese on your sandwich orfries but neglect to tell you cheese costs extra! Minus one star for that trick. Note that there is no useable cellreception(Sprint) in the store and no Wifi! Read more
