I love the ambience of the restaurant, I've been coming there since the 90s. The service was great and quick for being a busy... day downtown. However I do remember the food being better with more spices. The last time I was there the blt bacon was thesize of my pinky and had no flavor much like the meat and cheese. The fries had no salt and the ranch was bitter, more kraftover the counter than handmade. I will keep going there, but I'm hoping they take some advise and revise their food standardsto add more spices otherwise their clientele will be only the older crowd and the young only when they are too drunk to careabout flavor. Great deals on alcohol and the dj was good. Karaoke was also entertaining. Only complaint is kicking people out 25 minutes... before bar close pretty aggressively. Read more

Have not been to Boozie's in quite awhile. My wife and I along with our daughters family stopped in for a late lunch. The staff... was very welcoming. The service was very good. We had a varity of food. I had the noted Boozie burger that was very good. Mywife a quesdea and my daughter had nacho chips and her husband had a chicken wrap. the beer was cold as well. Still a greatstaff and food on our return visit. If you good food for a reasonable price you have come to the right bar and grill. Read more

Tenderloin was ok, not the best I've had. Cheese balls were ok, really greasy. Really disappointing, ordered the brownie for... dessert. It was way overbaked, burnt, crunchy, and dry. Read more

Love going for karaoke. There's always a good crowd. But they really need to find another DJ for Friday night. There's a good... reason why Saturday night karaoke is jam packed and awesome, and Friday night karaoke is dead. On the one hand you have aKaraoke DJ who lets a singer sing what they want and have a good time, on the other hand you have a DJ who talks over singers(literally gets on the MIC and talks during songs) and restricts music genres. Dude straight up said he "doesn't allow hip hop". Said it "brings in the wrong crowd." Ridiculous. Go on Saturdays. Read more

They have delicious mixed drinks that taste like jolly ranchers. The bartender that is usually there provides great service.... There is a pretty little wooden outdoor area with tables through the back door. It's a cute little place to relax and have adrink under the stars. Read more

Review Date: November 17th, 2014 Boozies is great. After seeing the Davenport Sky Bridge and Rhythm City Casino, my friends... and I were hungry and looking for some drinks. The coat check lady at Rhythm City Casino recommended this place? and we are sureglad she did. Walking it, it was a slow day, so we sat at the bar to converse with the bartender. She was jubilant andfriendly. Served us promptly and kept us entertained. We ordered food and the chef came out to even talk to us. When he servedus our food, he actually gave us an extra burger (we only ordered 2) and almost double the wings we ordered. He said we seemedlike cool guys and wanted to take care of us. We tried to tip the chef, but he refused it no matter how hard we tried. The fooditself was great! But then again, I have a soft spot for bar food. I always say ?Bar Food is the Best Food?! On top of that, wehappened upon a drink special. So we were wining and dining for dirt cheap. So all in all, it was a great time and just thething we all needed. Full of food. Full of beer. Full of good memories. That?s what road tripping is all about! Read more
