TLDR: cooked lobster is perfect, service is amazing but the lobster roll is a bit sad Heard many good things about this place.... Had the lobster roll with really high hope, but the balance of the roll seemed off. Way too much veggies and not enough lobsterfor the price (about $25 for a single roll without sides, we added a salad for an extra $5 to make a combo). As a comparison,The Bicycle Thief offers lobster roll with fries and salad for $26 and is much superior in taste. We also bought the cookedlobsters, and they are perfect, fresh, plump, and affordable. Overall good place to get seafood. Read more

Spent 5 days, 4 nights in Halifax, and this place served us the best meal in all of our time here. Conveniently located by the... ferry station, so you can grab lunch/dinner right as you get off. Worth taking the ferry ($2.75/adult) just for this. Lobsterand oysters were fresh, lobster poutine was different and delicious as a side. Wish we had more time to try other things on themenu. I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience there a few years ago and this was the first chance to go in a couple of years due to... the pandemic. The ferry ride from Halifax along with their delicious food makes for a great combo. The lightly battered friedscallops were fantastic as were the fried clams. I also loved the seafood chowder. I cannot recommend this place enough. My onlyregret is that I didn't have enough time to try everything. The prices are also cheap, if you're used to NYC prices like Iam. 9/10/2022 I went back for another visit. I had the fried scallops, fried clams and the seafood chowder again. Everything isstill fantastic!! The seafood here is remarkably fresh and expertly prepared. They also seem to have increased the portion sizeof the fried clams. I can see why the locals recommend this place! Lots of fresh seafood here and I appreciate how my seafood chowder was chock full... of the good stuff like lobster and halibut instead of potatoes. The deep fried digby scallops were tasty, but they were alsosmall and pricey, and I'm not sure they were worth it. The only con, if you will, was the awkward dining experience. Servicewas pretty slow (but staff was super friendly) and sitting in a dark food court wasn't a great experience. I would choose to sitoutside next time. Read more

A must!! The scallop sandwich and fries were perfection. My husband ordered the scallops and they were unbelievable. My children... ate the fish and chips and said it was top notch. We also ordered the seafood platter to go and it was delicious. We will comeback next time my family travels to nova scotia. Read more

Located in the ferry terminal building. Indoor and outdoor seating. The cashier was helpful answering questions. The food was... prepared fresh and served to our table. Everything was well done, clean and energetic service. My trout burger was enjoyable.The bread light and fresh. I squeezed a little fresh lemon on it to increase the sour.
