My wife loves the little spartan gyro, and has bought them many times, but now she is told she is to old to buy them anymore... because she is over 12 years old. She is 70 years old and being discriminated against because of her age. She bought theregular size and had to throw a portion of it away due to being more than she wanted. I understand being to young to buyalcohol, but to old to buy a sandwich just blows my mind. She will quit going there unless they change their policy back to whatit was until a week ago. Read more
The food is terrific when you dine in, however, the take-out experience was nowhere near this. Our order was made about 40... minutes prior to our scheduled pick-up resulting in cold gyros with tough, chewy pita. Read more

My first ever visit to The Mediterranean Sandwich Co. the menu was different than most traditional restaurants and it looked... like a good change of pace for quick eats. I chose this restaurant because my husband tries to watch his diet (way more than I do). Knowing how he loves Mediterranean... food, I thought this would be a great place for him. For me, Mediterranean food is not one of my top food choices, so I wasn'tsuper excited about going here. HOWEVER, the second we walked through the door, we were greeted with the most delicious smells.I began changing my mind at that moment. Then, the guy taking our order, William, was super friendly and helpful! I had aChicken Philly Pita with a side of Bacon Carbonara Orzo Pasta. My husband had a Chicken Shawarma Pita with Spinach-Tomato OrzoPasta. Both were delicious!! a variety of options for everyone! got their vegetarian falafel pita and it was just sooooo good. ended up getting another one... because i couldn?t get enough of it. i think mediterranean food can be a good and easy way to get into healthier eating and thisplace just makes it very accessible! do ask for their soup of the day because it is always phenomenal. the staff are lovely tointeract with. Amazing food and clean, busy restaurant. Beautiful surprise in Daphne, AL. Everything we ordered (party of 3) was fresh and... delicious. Although the restaurant was busy, we got our food very fast.
