I decided to come back here after 15+ years due to several photos I had seen lately on Google reviews. I ordered the Chili Con... Carne Burrito with Cheese Quesadilla and beans. These are usually safe options that are hard to get wrong. Let's start withpresentation. The food looked very appetizing when brought out. The burrito tasted good but the sauce tasted more like tomatosauce than chili sauce. That was hard to get past. The refried beans were ok but not really seasoned. The quesadilla was notgood! The cheese had a weird taste that tells your brain you should not eat that. I have never had a bad quesadilla in my life. It's cheese and tortilla. How does that go wrong. Either way it will probably be another 15 years before I try here again. Thereare so many great Mexican restaurants in our area these days it is hard to keep going to these older places. I really wanted tolike the food but it just missed the mark. My wife was disappointed on her meal also. She had an enchilada that she could notcut with a fork because the tortilla was tough. Her tamale was hard in spots like it was reheated in a microwave and got hard. Not good! Shame! Read more

Our service was good and the restaurant was clean. The chips and salsa were good. The nachos were not good at all. They only came... with cheese and jared jalapeños. (my guest put the salsa on them that you see in the photo) At a Mexican Restaurant I doexpect fresh jalapeños. Our food was covered with pretend cheese (like velveeta which is just gross) The nachos were lackingthe usual toppings that one would expect such as lettuce, tomato, cilantro, sour cream, green onions etc. The vegetarian tacosalad would have been very good had it not been submerged in the liquid pretend cheese. Waiter was attentive and nice. The margaritas were actually huge I had to finish my friends drink for him so be ready for that... ????. Later that afternoon I had a splitting migraine and felt incredibly hung over, I'm not going to blame the tequila in themargarita but if anyone else has a similar experience, let me know because it might've been the margaritas. The tamale wasdecent, the chimichangas were good as well. The queso was amazing, the guacamole was a little tasteless but I'll let it slidebecause everything else was good. No real complaints so I will give it a 5. The queso was definitely the best part of the meal, and it was cheap highly recommend. Read more
