The staff was nice and the place was neat although most of the tables needed to be wiped down. I did not find value in the items... I purchased. None of the fried items were fresh but still warm from the heat lamp. I understand everything cost more now, butthis was a joke at best. $40 was wasted. The only positive feedback I have about the food is the cheese grits were AMAZING! Ifit had not been for the grits, this would've been a 2?? review. I must say I was very disappointed. This place was pretty good when they first opened. It has declined significantly. The... catfish fillets were thin and tough. The shrimp was also quite overcooked. The hush puppies had no flavor. The okra was decent.The only really good thing from our meal was the cheese grits. I could forgive a lot of things, but it cost $76 to feed 3adults and 2 children. Needed outside seating, and the place has a wonderful fenced area. Staff was quick with service and the food was excellent. Hush... puppies weren't spicy which was good for me and my friend loved the okra. They had tasty catfish fillets which were a good sizeif you order by count. Read more
Love the convenience of the drive thru. Still the same good fish but miss the cole slaw.
