Reviews for Nana Karen's on Main in Danville, VA
This place is awesome. Small restaurant run by an awesome couple. Make sure that you have some time to enjoy this place. There... is one cook and one waitress so understand if there are ten people ahead of you, you are going to have to wait because they doevery fresh to order. I had their Cajun Catfish sandwich witch I would recommend to anyone. It was outstanding. If you have thetime, go check this place out. Read more
Best breakfast in town, with a variety of options. Clean food, and every breakfast meal comes with a yummy fruit cup. They have... weird hours sometimes, though it's a local family owned and operated place, and all the staff are nice. I would like to see afew more non-sugar breakfast items, and a more sour sourdough french toast, but it's all delicious! Lunch is good, too. Read more
Ordered the Bang Bang Chicken Chorizo Bowl. Has good taste but chicken was dry. Really liked the chorizo. Good portions and... friendly waitress. Read more
Good service and good menu variety and value. I had the fried chicken sandwich and fries. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the... inside. If I had to pick hairs I'd say fries were bordering oversalted. Definitely stop in if you're in the area. It's well worth the trip. Read more

An awesome hidden gem of a diner! My family and I ate breakfast and ordered Sourdough French Bread, side of corned beef hash and... a corned beef hash omelet. It wasn't very busy so we got our order quick. WELL WORTH THE $$ WE SPENT! For the same price at a"chain" joint, we received down home cooking food and plenty of it! We will definitely be back to try other items on theirrestaurant's menu! When you order breakfast, you get a nice little boat of fresh fruit for free! That was a pleasant surprise! Read more
