If you are looking for heritage type country food look no further. The fried pork chops, squash, and banana pudding reminded me... of the way my Grandmother made them over 49 years ago. I very seldom give five stars on anything, but Mary's Diner! Home cooking! I got hamburger steak & gravy, mashed potatoes, green... beans and Ice tea for around $14. About the same price as a hamburger & fries & drink. I get tired of hamburgers! But, I've beeneating at Mary's for 45 years, and still not tired of them! Read more
Phenomenal food! The BBQ chicken was to die for haha. We loved everything. Even the green beans were good!
If you haven't been...well you've been missing out! This family restaurant offers several meat and vegetable options as well as... plenty of desserts and salads. Bring your entire family and an empty stomach. The servings they give are huge so you'll probablyend up having leftovers which is always a plus because you get to eat it twice. Never Order to go the Lady who answers the phone and takes your orders will rush you pretty bad then the order hasn't been right... the past 3 Sundays we went. IM Afraid will not be going back went from huge breast to 2 bites on the Chicken. And my cobbler wasnothing but bread no strawberries. Ordered peach cobbler. It was dry and burnt. Only about 4 peaches. The container wasn't even full. The little short light skin... lady in takeout clearly didn't want to be bothered today. A waste of my gas & $3. Read more
Well, I called there with a request to see if it was something they could fulfill and the lady was not very friendly. And I just... said OK thank you and she said ?umm hmmm? and then hung up the phone. Sorry if my request or phone call was such aninconvenience.
