Went here on the spur of the moment. Loved it! Great, impeccable, service! Had Daily Special, wild salmon salad. 10+ Others had... short rib sandwich but the winner was the prawn side dish! 4 large prawns.. ordered by a 10 year old. Also, deviled eggs!Perfectly done : everyone was eyeing them! Sides are great for light dinner or snack. We all had a great lunch, comfortableseating and amazing service! Fries a disappointment- too many, soggy. Will be going often when out that way!! Great place, good drinks and we loved the chicken wings . Surprisingly good value for money. Mains were a bit lacking but... definitely will visit again. Don't forget to get the hot sauce if you like some heat. Read more

Service was great. We were seated immediately and our orders were taken promptly. There wasn't much of a wait before the food... was brought out. I ordered the Salas of the day with Salmon, wings (too spicy for me) but my cousin loved them, and the chickenbreast biscuit sliders, which were my favorite. Be careful when eating outside. We sat on the sidewalk table and there wereseveral bugs that came from above onto our table. I'll definitely go back again. Read more

This was my first visit to Revel, I met a local friend who suggested it for lunch. Everything was delicious! I couldn't find... exactly what I wanted and the server was fantastic at making recommendations for substitutions. I was very happy!! Read more

Service was great, 5 stars, the food was good, 4 stars. We ordered off the happy hour menu, the $1 oysters were decent, had a... shell chunk in one of mine. The tostada had a good flavor, fried cauliflower was alright, some were soggy and others were betterfried. We ordered the wagyu beef sliders which were okay, my fries were soggy but my companion enjoyed theirs. For dessert weordered the lemon meringue which was good, the meringue was quite well done! Revel Kitchen & Bar service hours made us choose this place initially. They don’t have mid day breaks. It is also... strategically located in the center of Danville. The menu is pretty simple which we appreciate because it was semi easier tochoose. Semi easier because there were so many other things in the menu that we like too. We ordered the two sliders in the menuand requested truffle fries on the side. Their truffle fries is generous and “dangerous” lol On the lamb sliders, werequested chef choice and they went for medium rare. It was great. The Mary’s chicken is delightful. There were only 2 in aslider than the usual 3 but it is best portion for the 2 of us. I gave it 4 stars because I had to walk to get the waiter for anorder. Other than this, the service is great. For some reason, water was extremely good here. Read more

Still my favorite restaurant in Danville. All the food top to finish always amazing. We always seem to end up here for... birthdays. Post COVID obviously a lot of things have changed. Dining is outside, they have tables in front of the restaurantstill, and also in that side alley. Put our names in, and 15 min later we were seated! They use a texting system so you don'thave to wait around. Restrooms are open, just wear your mask! OK now on to the rest: Service: Even though we were sat downimmediately, it took some time for our server to come to us, and we had to flag someone down to get water. Not a big, we knowthings are "different" now and def shared some more patience. Ambiance: being outside is the best!!! There's live musicplaying across the street, which they do compete with each other some for sound waves haha. Food: Tuna tartare: delish, butmore mellow in flavor profile. I could taste the ginger, but it felt like it need something a little more to kick up the flavor, maybe salt? Fried Mary's Chicken Breast & Buttermilk sliders: Holy heck, I needed like 10 of these. perfect marriage of salt, creaminess, sweet, was amaze! Truffle Fries. I stop there. :) Drink: Aperol Spritz: it was like one of those dangerous orangesodas w/alcohol, a few of these and woops! Very refreshing summer drink. Butterscotch pudding: every. single. time. Jan 2022update: quality of food still good, just some updates on them though Tuna tartare, too much filler w/the cucumber Inoticed. Mussels in coconut sauce: get them! Read more

Love their Happy Hour oysters. Tasted so fresh and was only $1 between 3-5pm. Truffle fries are delicious as well. This time we... stopped for Happy Hour appetizers but had lunch at Revel before. Food is good for the most part. Read more
