Reviews for Piatti in Danville, CA
Had been here for my Wife's Birthday. Cool Ambience and excellent service. Bruschetta is a must try appetizer; liked the sweet... burrata cheese on top of bread. Quiche with mushroom was OK. Gnocchi was a bit disappointment - tasted like eating bland mashedpotato. Price is lot higher for the quantity and taste. 70 bucks for 2 people...hm Read more
We had a fun experience at Piatti celebrating a birthday there. We made reservations a day ahead and they made it a fun... experience by printing birthday wishes on their paper menu. We asked to be seated in the courtyard by the fountain. It is a goodlocation if weather permitting. Their bread is something you really don't want to miss. The Gnocchi was average and so were thepasta. Tiramisu was really good. Service was super slow, it took us 2+ hours for dinner. Read more
First. Thank you so, so much to Tami, David, Robert, Chef Mike, GM John Perkins, and all of the Piatti Staff. Food was... definitely on point! This was an AMAZING and intimate event for us - party of 18 in the Tuscan room. I cannot express thegratitude or the level of professionalism, care, and consideration that was shown to us. I have worked with numerous eventcoordinators as my profession is in this industry (working with hotels, restaurants, etc. for parties of 10 all the way to 2-3thousand) and the event for my daughter’s birthday went off without a hitch. I mean, even before the day of the event, Tami, the event coordinator, was very responsive and flexible. She answered in detail, all my questions. She set up a meeting to giveme a more hands on visual of the event location even while she was going on vacation. She followed up our meeting with multiplephone calls to ensure our event went the way it should while she was ON VACATION. She made sure the BEO (banquet event order)was modified every time we spoke and made changes to it and asked me to review it to ensure it was to my standard. Then, fromthe time we arrived for the event to the moment we left, the level of customer service has been the best I’ve seen. Not oncein the 15 plus years I’ve worked in this industry has the coordinating staff ever helped in the actual set up of our event, but the staff at Piatti did (ie putting things out for our props that we brought, seeing and providing second opinions onwhether the way things were laid out looked okay, helping carry items in from the vehicle to the venue location, setting propsout. The moment we walked in, they offered drinks - coffee, water, tea, etc. to the set up crew. Continued to ask if we neededhelp with anything. It literally felt like they were part of the family, engaged and ready to assist with every aspect of theparty. After the event, they helped with clean up, and even helped with throwing away props that we didn’t need anymore, I me Read more
Delicious food, excellent service. I usually avoid Italian because I eat gluten free, but they had a couple of tasty options for... me. A little thin on vegetarian pastas for my sister, though. But all in all it was excellent. . Read more
Great service, food was very delicious. Always very busy. Wish the party’s were in a more private setting.
Oh piatti, I love you. I am at a loss for words to describe how AMAZING their bread and dipping sauce is, it’s so good I’m... speechless. I love the bolognese & the ricotta lemon ravioli they are both to die for. They have delicious meat dishes and theirpizzas are also quite tasty! (They also do catering for take-home which my family loves to do)! The staff their is so friendly,it’s the best spot for Italian in Danville! Read more
Food was great with huge portions. I believe the waiter could have improved by mentioning about the huge dinner portions. Not... everyone likes to take home nor waste food. As it is, there was no room for dessert. My friend and I could only finish half ofour dinners - we could've shared the entrée. The place had a good sized indoor as well as outdoor dining space. Hostess wasvery pleasant and accommodating. Read more
I used to eat the salmon here every single week. The same exact dish. they started getting cheaper and cheaper on the dish. And... instead of having mashed potatoes and yummy vegetables, then it was like grilled canned corn. But the real kick was the lasttime I went I found a curly black hair that wasn’t mine in my food. I can’t get over that. ???? So no more for me. 3 strikesyou’re out. Read more
