We absolutely LOVED this place. Not only were we greeted outside by several adorable kitties, but the food was out of this... world! If you like country cookin' this is the place for you. I ate so much I barely made it through the door when we left????. We will definitely be back!! Read more

This is by far one of my favorite places to travel to eat in Alabama. We drive up here at least three times a year just to have... a wonderful lunch. Normally I?m not a fan of buffets, but the Old Cookstove is an exception. It is clean. It is some of the bestfood in Alabama. Read more

A quaint little off the main track country buffet featuring home style, absolutely delicious eats. The place is REALLY clean... and the staff is helpful and friendly. I sampled ham, country steak (with white gravy) various casseroles, veggies and severaldeserts. Everything (with the exception of chicken livers which were dried out) was delicious. I am sure I'll go back at somepoint! Read more

I love the atmosphere, the people, the food and the wonderful things for sale at the restaurant. The food was so delicious plus... all of the ladies working hard in the kitchen were constantly filling the buffet when the food was low or almost empty. Makesure to try their homemade breads with jams. Oh and make sure you leave some room for the delicious creamy homemade vanilla icecream, pudding truufle, cakes, chocolate dump cake, apple crisp and fruit cobblers!!! Everything and everyone were justwonderful. May the People who own & work there Be Blessed Abundantly and May Our Heavenly Father continually shower theirFamilies with many, many Blessings!! Food was good, but way overpriced. Signs say, ?tipping is greatly appreciated? but no one ever came to our table to get our... plates or see if we needed anything. Nothing warranted a tip. It was a self serve buffet. Read more

Great food, service, and people. Always great, but Friday after 4pm they also have seafood on the buffet in addition to all the... normal favorites like ham, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, okra, fried green tomatoes, dressing, green beans, and on andon..... plus you can't go wrong with homemade ice cream and deserts. That's if you remember to save room. Give them a try youronly regret is you are just now finding them. Read more
