We had no idea the Berry Tavern offered Italian food. I mean, homemade pastas, sauces, and dressings! The North End flavors... right here in Danvers! Met an old friend here, in the town I grew up in. She got a burger that she loved. I ordered a Meatball and mushroom pizza... that was fantastic. I ate half, took the rest home and had it the next day. It seemed to get better. It was a cool fallday, and we sat outside. Service was great. I will definitely be back. Read more
Myself and two friends went to dinner at Berry Tavern. Last Thursday. I grew up in the area. (Salem),,but this was our first... visit.Wonderful time!!!’ Our waitress was awesome! Service great! Exceptional entertainment! Food delicious! All three of usenjoyed thoroughly! We will definitely go back to this very happy place. Such a wonderful experience! Everyone was having agreat time! Delicious food and friendly staff will definitely have us return soon! Both our meals were incredible! The salmon was cooked... beautifully and the short ribs were as tender as can be! It’s a tavern but don’t let that fool you. The food is excellent and the menu has a nice variety. I had blackened... swordfish which was seasoned and cooked perfectly. But came over a bed of spinach risotto. My wife had a filet mignon. Pricesare reasonable and the service is always with a smile-thanks Kelly. Read more
The Berry Tavern has a really nice atmosphere! I'm a Salem/Peabody local that had never tried this place and found it looking... for truffle fries (haha). My boyfriend and I went for an early Valentine's Day dinner and it was awesome. The staff was veryfriendly (Lauren) and helpful with recommendations for beverages. The food was simply delicious. I ordered the lobster ravioliand my bf had the steak tips and both were impressive on taste. I will say be prepared for the tiramisu if you order it becauseit's massive! Friendly service and great food! Large portions for a solid price. They have a nice draft selection and drink list that will... make anyone happy. Not too shabby on the whiskey list too! Start with a brick oven pie then order an entree. Definitely worthchecking out for delivery or dine-in. We plan to become regulars! Read more
Took the parents for Sunday lunch. We had been trying to get there for a while in the evening, always busy. Lucky to have a... super server, Helena. We had chicken parm, meatball and steak tip sandwiches. All super yummy. Large portions, in-laws ate onlyhalf and took home rest. Fries, fig side salad and tavern salad, all great.
