Thanks for reaching out. Still stand with what I said with being mylast time. I drive a truck local and would stop to take break/ lunch or dinner. So when walk in and see the sign on computerthat its closed it makes you very mad cause now have to choose to stay on break or go some where else. So to make it easy Illjust choose another place. I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE my lovely experience with Speedway that has been my preferred fuel stop in past 4 years mostly for... diesel. This happened at this location on 6/19/19 After i fueled diesel for $641 out of fuel island to the left and parked.There were at least 4 other trucks parked there and there were no parking signs as well. No one including was blocking eitherpumps, entrance nor exit. I decided to take break there and assumed it was ok since other trucks were there. After approximately3 houra i heard some loud air noise and knock on my dor. I looked and sow two guys hooked my truck on tow truck and took myairline off. All this happened while I WAS IN THE TRUCK! They said that Speedway corporate office has called them and told themto tow my truck which i found out it was a lie. I went inside the store and asked person who was working who called tow truckand why didnt they just tell me to move and she said no one called them, they just drive around and tow teucks which was anotherlie. They gave me option of paying $350 right away or they gonna tow the truck and it will be $1500 next day. Not knowing whatto do i paid $350. I moved and parked down the road. I waited till morning and went back to the Speedway and asked for a managerand i asked her what happened and who called tow truck. She said that person who was working night before did in fact call themtwice and she had to log these calls. So not once but twice. It seems she had to make sure they come. So its clear here howcrooked this operation is at this specific location. I been driving truck for 10 years and has never happened to me. I calledmultiple tow companies in the area and asked them what are their polices and rules on towing and they all said they always givewarning first. This works for all truck stops nationwide, they all give warning first except this location. The employees are great!! The cafe has some good food however their cafe is closed down more than McDonalds shake machines. I... think corporate needs to pay their employees better so that they could find enough employees to be able to keep the cafe inoperation. No bathrooms! No credit or debit! Cafe closed! This speedway is far from convenient!! Hey corporate, can you pleasetake care of your store? It has serious problems!!! These reviews don?t help!! There are how many people complaining about thecafe NEVER being open and nothing has changed. Just called to see if the cafe is open. It?s sure not! Why do they even have acafe? It?s never open. You can?t order what you want only what they choose to sit out.
