Visiting my son and his wife. They brought me here for brunch. The portions were so huge that after sharing the sampler... appetizer and short rib poutine fries with 2 soft eggs on top, we had to ask our server to pack up our meals to take home! Not sure if we just came on an off day after reading all the reviews... Our chicken panini was surprisingly small and had maybe... half of a chicken cutlet worth of chicken on it. I had to take some off of my half because the other half didn't even haveenough to cover the bread. It tasted good at least, but not great proportions. I will say the onion rings were great! We alsogot the Thai salad, which was not great and had nothing Thai about it. The chicken was supposed to be cooked in a soy gingersauce and have a peanut sauce on top. There was maybe a tablespoon of a really watery peanut sauce that had dropped down on theside of the salad. The chicken itself just tasted like charcoal. The salad was primarily just spring mix soaked in a sweetvinaigrette. The bathrooms were the worst part though - the women's bathroom smelled AWFUL (like mildew and sewage), and it wasfilthy - dust and hair all over the walls of the stall. Great spot for anything! We stopped by for lunch, a/c was working well on this 99 degree day! Cold drinks we refreshing,... fabulous onion rings, soups & very fresh salads! Great drinks and food! A very chill and relaxing spot, the music and atmosphere makes it a good spot to have drinks and relax.... The burger was more on the well done side rather than medium but it was still good regardless.Short rib was definitelydelicious. They just need more selections of hot sauce lol. The drinks are really good, but be careful they?ll sneak up on you.Definitely recommend the 007 and Moscow mule. All in all this restaurant was pretty good so definitely recommend for a Sundaydinner outside on the patio with nice weather. Read more
This restaurant is so unique with it's vintage theme and decor. This is a family style restaurant with a kids menu and it's... right accross the street from Thrillz&Jumpz which is where we were coming from. The host was very welcoming, freindly and wasable to sit us right away which I wasn't expecting bevause we were a large party.They accommodated our party of 17 very well.They put us in the nook on the top level so we were all together and it worked out so well. Our server David was amazing and didso well on his own with such a large party. I will definitely be asking for him to be our server when we come back! The Frenchonion soup is delicious. Their wings are crispy the way I like them. Baha fish tacos were huge and come with rice. Coconutshrimp were delicious. The brunch burger was interesting as it comes with a syrup type sauce on it. One person in our groupdidn't fancy the sauce while another did. But over all the food was great. My only regret is I didn't leave room for dessert. Ididn't like that the bathrooms were located on the bottom level, below the entrance but or that the stalls were so tiny but theyserve their purpose. Absolutely a Fantastic Restaurant with a bit of nostalgia with it's decor. Plenty of Free parking including for Handicap... accessible Vehicles, the restaurant was clean and Staffed with Friendly employees who were adhering to all COVIDrecommendations. The menu was great with something for everyone, the portions were ample and cooked perfectly. In our opinionthe the prices were very fair. So in the area, give them a try, if you like good food, and a nice setting you won't bedisappointed! Read more
