After our great experience last weekend at Pokelicious at SoNo mall we wanted to duplicate our experience closer to our home and... decided to try Poke House but it was really a disappointment, we should have left after seeing the weird set up at the front ofthe store where they used random chairs and some props to block off the dining room area with a child play pan in the center ofit as if they were closing up the place, it?s fine to close the dining room but maybe cover it up a bit nicer? We ended upgetting 3 poke bowls one was ok the rest were with a strange combination of stuff that really didn?t taste that great.. thewhole experience was not a pleasant one. Read more
It's just okay, nothing great. Average pricing. Meat portions are good but the bowl is smallish, but my complaint was that there... were no crunchy toppings. Sticking to yummy poke and sushi in Hamden and pokemoto in New haven. Read more
Food is good and price is fair. Order was ready in less than 10 minutes. You have many options to build your own poke.... Unfortunately the only downside is that they forgot to add the sauce to my wife?s poke. The place was not crowded and it waseasy to find a place to park. Read more
Visiting from Florida so it was my first and maybe only time here, so this may not be credible for some; Read the reviews and... looked at the pics, everything seemed to check out, buy holy small scoops and high topping prices, batman! 1.25 PER TOPPING andthe tiniest scoops of fish I've ever had in any poke place I've ever been to EVER? please see the pics- this was BEFORE we ateany of it!! My friend got a single scoop of yellowtail and I got a double scoop- one tuna, one salmon. Everything tasted goodand the rice was nice and hot, but sheeeesh. I was a little bothered I couldn't walk in with a mask on to pick out my toppings, but I understand it is for everyone's safety,... and appreciated it. Tried the default Hawaiian bowl and enjoyed it so much I'll definitely take the family here in the future.Great stuff - like sushi in a bowl - yummy!!! Read more

YOU MUST EAT HERE ! This place, this wonderful experience, this is what you are looking for. Do you crave fresh mouth watering... seafood, Poke House is were that crave will be satisfied. So this is my 1st time here only ever driving by and noticing thesmall shop in a spot that was something else I'd just ignore. Finally, on a boring, lazy, no cooking type of Saturday I figuredI'd get a bowl. I walked in, selected choices from the menu. I had to have "Yami sauce" explained to me, which the guy did inthe most friendly way. I couldn't wait to get home. Well my 3 minute drive couldn't have been longer because what I ate, Icannot describe. It wasn't a new flavor, it was a familiar flavor done in its final form. A masterpiece. 10 5 stars ????? Update your prices on your website. A coworker did a poke run and I picked the $11.95 Dragon Bowl, come to find (with taxes) it... came to $18, and was $16 before tax. Ridiculous marketing, do better. Read more
