It's a great place, it's been around 45 years, and the city wants to closed it at the end of the year 2018 ? To put a hotel In... that place , when they already have 4 by the beach. Dana Point. There are only 2 restaurants that sit on the hillside, givingyou the view of the harbor this place and charter steak house. This was a great seafood restaurant with seating basically hanging off the cliff. Awesome view of the harbor and sunset colors... the boats. After dark the harbor is lit which is another view itself. Lobster bisque was one of the better I've ever had and thesteak and swordfish were both done very well. Definitely a place to check out. Read more

Cannons has been a family favorite for a long time. You simply cannot beat a glass of wine on warm summer evenings and... afternoons on that patio overlooking the harbor. Great staff, super friendly owners that are always around, and the food isfantastic. Delicious seafood, perfectly cooked steaks and a great wine menu. My wife and I were married on their patio, if youare looking for a space for a party, meeting or wedding, I definitely recommend it as a venue as well. Two thumbs up! Read more
